They're a small school power.  That's it.

So was 4A Noxubee County, MS who almost took out the defending 5A Texas State Champ and Power ALEDO......losing 10-6.

That's almost like a win for Noxubee County especially after driving 900 miles by bus to Texas.

That said.
Curtis might win by 10-14 points.
Louisville is much much better than Cathedral (Los Angeles)

John Curtis set a school rushing record  vs Cathedral (Los Angeles) last year with a whopping 660 Yards. Don't ask me how that's possible, That's probably for another day.

John Curtis will be lucky to get 200 Yards Rushing vs Louisville.

Two totally different animals.

I have no earthly idea what that is all about.

Here are the facts!

Defending 5A State Champ Aledo was 13-2 and went 5 rounds in Texas 5A.

Aledo's 2 losses:
(16-0) Cedar Park #9 Texas, 5A State Champ
(15-1) Lake Ridge #11 Texas, 5A State Runner up

Everyone else on their schedule they put 70, 60, 50, 40, etc on EXCEPT 4A Noxubee County, MS.
Noxubee County was 1 dropped TD pass away from pulling that upset, or would it even have been an upset. I'm not so sure really.

Worst part is he hyped them up all summer and even posted a live stream for them. It was an all time embarrassment. State top 3 team against a team that isn't even top 100 from theirs.

Aledo was 208 nationally. Noxubee Co was 271.

Sounds like a close game would be played with those rankings.

Not sure what national 271 Nox County from 10 years ago has to do with Louisville MS ranked in the 700's in 2025.

Classic Red Flag

Aledo was beaten by 21 points by a team that was beaten by 56 points in the final.

The year before that,  Amat beat a better Aledo team 42-0. That same Amat team lost to chino hills

In their entire history, they've never been a top 25 team in the state.

Yet another self-serving zero value added to the 4A Noxubee, MS equation.

Just another Amat offering.

Don't blame me if the California experts were wrong about Cathedral..... they missed on 100's of teams. Imagine that!

MaxPreps had Oaks Christian Preseason Top 10 in California....... they finished with 7 losses and finished #83 in California.

I guess if John Curtis would have scheduled Oaks Christian and I mentioned they were Preseason Top 10
that would be hyping them.
