MaxPreps had Oaks Christian Preseason Top 10 in California....... they finished with 7 losses and finished #83 in California.

I guess if John Curtis would have scheduled Oaks Christian and I mentioned they were Preseason Top 10

The fact is Cathedral was ranked 68th in California when Curtis agreed to the game. And that was knowing they were losing 9 of their top 12 tacklers.

So they lose almost an entire defense from the 68th Cali team and Curtis decides to jump all over that.

Then every Cali poster for months says they aren't good and never have been good, and 2025 will be no different. And then Cathedral proceeded to lose 6 games and was ranked 107th in California.

So they were probably worse than already expected. But it wasn't a surprise. It was an expectation. To everyone without an agenda

Scheduling any California team not a Top 10 "name" is a schedule liability because nobody in the Free World knows who teams #11-#25 even are.

They were 68th in the state and losing their whole defense. It's not that hard to figure out that they are not gonna be making any leaps and bounds any time soon.

Curtis scheduled them because he knew they would be worse than 68th which is already average.

The craziest thing is bragging and hyping up the win for the 3rd ranked La team over the 107th ranked CA teams. That's beyond embarrassing

MaxPreps had Inglewood Preseason #21 last year.
Reality: Inglewood went 6-6 and were Top 80 in California.

If John Curtis had scheduled Inglewood and I said wow John Curtis got a game with Preseason #21 Inglewood...... And I go on to mention the 7 or 8 really good players Inglewood has and educate the forum to who Inglewood actually is > I'm guilty of hyping Inglewood.

If nobody knows in California who's worth a shit I don't know how anybody can expect JT Curtis from New Orleans, Louisiana to know.

The people that put the San Juan hills Football Classic together probably called JT and told him they were going to set him up with a 10-1 Los Angeles team....and those very same people were probably responsible for selling Cathedral to JT.

Inglewood will probably be a Top 25 Preseason team this year in California again.    .. they have some really nice players.

Two weeks into the season Inglewood will be a California Slappy. 🏈🤠🏈

Inglewood has a couple OOS games set up this year, I believe..... to showcase their talent.

They are going to get on a airplane and fly to Texas to play Austin Westlake.

Search this site for Inglewood posts. All but a couple of the posts from someone other than you might as well say "Inglewood is a high school football team that exists". It's nothing more than posts about them having a game scheduled. Aside from those posts you have Frosty talking about a QB that left Inglewood and Arar stopping just short of saying Westlake's fixing to whip that ass. You - a guy 1500 miles from Inglewood - are the only one providing any sort of hype to that program.

You're the only one that doesn't already believe that Inglewood is a slappy. When they get bent over by Westlake there will not be some grand narrative shift except for the one you're trying to will into existence.
