People, the high school football internet is officially broken.

The foundation of it always sucked anyways!

This is what a real person would have said upon finding out about this matchup.

"John Curtis has completed their schedule with Louisville Mississippi. They were outside the state top 20 last year, so Curtis shouldn't have much of an issue with them. They must have had difficultly finding a closer game than 4 hours, so this schedule filler was a necessity to avoid a 9 game regular season."

That's it. That's the end.

John Curtis won state in 2022 and beat Top 10 7A Oak Grove, MS that year.

Curtis was taken to the woodshed by Zachary and Edna Karr that year

Some of you people just have no business on the internet.

Fuckin A!

We are talking about THIS year you stupid idiot. Why would you bring up 2022? Even so, that's just another example of Curtis scheduling weak opponents. Oak Grove was barely top 10 in a below average state. What a moron you are.

I'm thinking about retiring from this tired bullshit.
But let me ask you something.

What do you do for a living?
Drive a truck, maybe work in a dairy or something?.......just curious

Oak Grove was number 10 in MS and didn't sniff state.

Curtis was number 2 in LA and cruised to state.

And the game was a 5 point, 4 quarter war all the way to the end. MS#10 is about the same as LA#2. That's a fact.

Just see when the exact same state ranked teams play. MS#11 Oak Grove put a running clock on LA#11 Neville 36-7

Zachary lost by 9 to another top 10 Louisiana team so that makes it ok for top 10 Zachary to lose 53-0!!!!

Too funny. Truth is the football in Lousiana is off brand small ball. The top teams get punked by random OOS teams. Not national powerhouses. Obscure off the wall teams.

It's why Florida #93 Escambia can go over to New Orleans and punk Louisiana State top 10 Rummel around for 4 quarters.

It's why baby Heritage Delray who played in the 6th largest class (3A out of 8 classes)  can go put a running clock on Lousiana state top 10 and large class West Monroe, then come back to Florida and get thrown out of the 2nd round.

This is not serious football

and it was West Monroe's Homecoming... I remember thinking we were in trouble during warm-ups when you could hear AH's coach all the way up in the stands going through his players yelling "These guys scheduled you for Homecoming... how does that make you feel!"

one of the worst games I ever sat through and I've seen a lot of WM games  :-[

Greg Bryant (rest in peace) was on that Heritage team. He had himself a game. They were really talented for a small school. And they ran into the state champ in the 2nd round. I'm assuming speed at the skill positions was the difference maker.

2A Calvary Baptist putting 40 on West Monroe that year had to have stung too if you watched that one. It was pretty ugly too.

Calvary Baptist was a Top 40 team in Louisiana.
The Florida team was a Top 10 team in Florida

Go figure!

West Monroe was winning 29-26 in the 4th quarter against Calvary before the wheels fell off and CBA scored 2 TD's to escape alive. 40-29. Game was at Calvary with questionable calls.

AHD thoroughly dominated from beginning to end putting a running clock on them. And AHD had to fly to Dallas and take a bus and sleep in uncomfortable hotels as a homecoming opponent in hostile territory with good ole boy refs. Game ended 31-7

These two are not the same

Of course
Then you insecure losers could be as bizarre as you want with no checks and balances!

Hell, Bixby could be even Top 5 In the new world.

Grow up Milk Man and  remember you're in my thread.
You definitely don't have to be in it...... but then maybe you do because you're the real cancer!
