Too funny. Truth is the football in Lousiana is off brand small ball. The top teams get punked by random OOS teams. Not national powerhouses. Obscure off the wall teams.

It's why Florida #93 Escambia can go over to New Orleans and punk Louisiana State top 10 Rummel around for 4 quarters.

They missed the playoffs in a garbage district. The district had 4 teams and 2 automatically made the playoffs as the champ and runner up.

And Escambia wasn't one of them. And both teams from the district were both thrown out of the playoffs by the 2nd round by teams who didn't sniff state.

Fun fact - if this matchup were between Arizona's #3 and the 23rd ranked team from a neighboring state Liberty would be playing Taos (NM), Fort Collins (CO), Morgan (UT), or Spring Creek (NV). The big difference would be that the smallest of those schools would be 250 students bigger than Louisville. I've shit on Arizona teams for scheduling much better match ups than Curtis v. Louisville.

Hell, it was just last weekend that RZ was shitting on the 47th-ranked team in Oklahoma for losing to the 21st-ranked team in Kansas. The hypocrisy would be impressive if it weren't so embarrassing.

I doubt @Omaha Vol has ever heard of Louisville because he just doesn't know very much,  but he definitely has had West Point and Starkville ranked in his Nonsense 100 before.

That 2023 Louisville team was pretty special.
