The truth of the matter is I've watched more High School football in the first 2 or 3 weeks of the season than you will watch the entire season  I actually research most of the teams I talk about on here also. I have the feel.

Tomorrow, Rancho Cucamonga plays Chaparral. Chaparral is San Juan Hills best win(38-33 game) . We'll get a better gauge from this game till the playoffs. San Juan Hills plays in a weak division.

Truthfully, it's not that big a deal.

San Juan Hills is more highly regarded in California than Rockwall-Heath is in Texas. That's just a fact.

The only reason I'm somewhat interested is Rockwall-Heath plays in the same District as Longview....  . and Ruston, La plays Longview again.

Longview will travel to Ruston next week. Big game, Will be bigger if Longview can beat SOC.
SOC has already beat North Shore this year and lost by 7 to Duncanville last week.

Zack Poff at MaxPreps made a comment justifying not dropping MD from #1 after their game against Kahuku. I agree that's ridiculous
though perhaps a little bit understandable given that team was MD and their recent run of dominance. However, having that as foundational principle in determining your rankings regardless of your #1 team is comically short-sighted.
