Quote from: Redzone on Nov 04, 2025, 02:49 PMLongview crushed Rockwall Heath 31-7.....it was ugly

Longview is just 11 points from being 9-0 this year.
South Oak Cliff won by 3
Ruston, La won by 3
Forney won by 4
North Forney won by 1

Longview was up 3 TDs this past weekend against North Forney and choked it away........ like I mentioned in the thread the QB for North Forney is electric.

While that Texas district may be the most competitive district in Texas this year none of those teams are probably going to win a state championship.

My best bet is Longview goes 3-4 rounds .

Longview lost twice in district play.

Heath once and you were wrong about them missing the playoffs. Go figure.

You were also wrong in saying that San Juan is higher ranked in Cali than Heath in Texas at the end of the regular season.

Rummel finished the year ranked top 10 in the state. Escambia finished 93rd in Florida. That is what you are dealing with when discussing Lousiana football

Who's Escambia?

Some random panhandle team where Emmitt Smith went back in the 80's. That's the only thing they are famous for.

That and being ranked 93rd in Florida and beating a top 10 Louisiana team by 2 scores in New Orleans. Lol.

They might make it as the 4th team in that 7 team District.

Longview in
North Forney in
Rockwall in
4th?

Rockwall gave Lake Travis everything they wanted finally losing 28-20. Lake Travis is currently #8 in Texas.

Just sayin'

Everything I've said in this thread is pretty much been factual.
Rockwall Heath will be the #4 team coming out of that District In the 6A playoffs.

I originally said they returned 17 starters and could be a dark horse.

At the end of the day..... Rockwall Heath was 7-3 and qualified for the 6A playoffs and they beat a Top 20 California team until they had a bunch of players ruled ineligible and had to forfeit 9 wins.

You said Rockwall would make the playoffs.  They were eliminated last week.

That was based on Rockwall making the Playoffs for 13 straight years....... and Rockwall does have a win this year vs nationally ranked North Crowley.

Like I said.
Rockwall Heath was a dark horse and returned 17 starters this year. They made the playoffs!!
Good for them.
