Pacifica has won 26 games in the last 2 years including playing for 2 state championships.

Last year a good Central East (Fresno) team beat Pacifica 42-28 in the CIF Division 1-A Champ game.

Maybe someone should look at Pacifica Preseason in CA....... without knowing any of the players and what nots > I would understand the logic.

Looks like they had a very successful season. 👇

To be honest I've never heard of Pacifica football, but I like the name of the school. I've never seen Pacifica mention by anyone granted I don't check the CA thread religiously.
I have no idea what kind of football they play, but they won lots of games last year.

Anyways, this just shows nobody knows what the fuck is going on out there especially the people on this forum.

I expect better!

Why would anyone mention Pacifica on a National Forum,, They don't play any Nationally Relevent Teams or OOS games....

When should people have started talking about Pacifica? When they beat Cali #83 Oaks Christian by 4, or maybe the next week when they beat #120 St. Bonaventure by one? They were a talented, young team in 2025 that people were correct to be skeptical of based on what they were doing with the schedule they had and it looks like they built a schedule with a couple decent "prove it" games (Del Oro, Lincoln, and Sierra Canyon all would have been the best team on their schedule last year and all are inexperienced on offense for 2025).

There's nothing wrong with allowing teams with light resumes to prove their mettle before starting the hype parade.

Well, they destroyed the Maxpreps CA Preseason Top 25 this past year, beat Granite Hills who finished #13 in CA and Pacifica was a Top 100 team nationally.

If you want to say CA #13 is irrelevant I'd probably be inclined to believe that, but Pacifica still beat them.

Like I said.
Pacifica should get some Preseason consideration in CA.
But if you people insist on pimping these imposters I can't do anything with that

What is hilarious to me is that Pacifica is almost verbatim what I described a state's #25 team should be expected to be. They were a team that played a soft schedule (28.5 strength rating even after five playoff games against national top 300 squads), they bent over the bad teams on their schedule but still had some WTF offerings (needing 10 fourth quarter points to beat national #804 St. Bonaventure by one), and held serve against their state's top 15 (one score win over Granite Hills, two score loss to Central East). The only box they didn't check was getting bent over by the Trinity League, DLS, or Corona. You might as well start yelling about me not talking about Tucson Desert View or American Leadership Academy-Gilbert North because all three have resumes that are as unremarkable as the others.

Ok, last year Pacifica took out CA #13 Granite Hills in the playoffs
.
Mission Hills,, Lost AL, and Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) also beat Granite Hills.

Granite Hills did beat a very good Lincoln (San Diego) In the playoffs?

Granite Hills 2025 #13 CA
https://www.maxpreps.com/ca/el-cajon/granite-hills-eagles/football/schedule

My point.
I've seen you people mention Mission Hills, Cathedral Catholic (San Diego), Lost Al and, Lincoln (San Diego) BUT NEVER Pacifica.

That's just wrong!

Pacifica and Sierra Canyon have never met in the MaxPreps era (2004)

I don't know why Pacifica would want to schedule an OOS game when they can schedule Sierra Canyon..... dnd even Lincoln (San Diego)

The Sierra Canyon game is a big game on the Pacifica schedule, right?...... win or lose.
Pacifica must be feeling it.

I'm going to keep my eye on Pacifica just the same.

Whatever you say, Woody.
You've already proven you are completely lost again.

One thing though.
You may want to check that Pacifica SOS out just a little closer and compare it to some of the other teams in the Maxpreps National Top 25.

See if you can do that without interjecting a bunch of absolutely worthless bologna.

Bologna is for sandwiches!.

I'm convinced everyone should just step back and let Wooderson do his thing to RZ. The knowledge he is spitting is crazy good. RZ gonna have a long season if he doesn't backoff Wooderson. lol ;D

It's just a damn shame that beating the #13 ranked CA team is now totally meaningless.

It's so meaningless and irrelevant Woody brings a couple of shit Arizona teams into the equation for comparison.

I can't do anything with you people.

California sure isn't what it used to be.
Welcome to the NEW California!.......wasn't  always this way

Again Red Flag's narrative is high ranked teams in the preseason can lay duds and it's hard to predict. The point is to imply that Cathedral was highly ranked (they weren't), and that John Curtis scheduling them wasn't as embarrassing as it was made out to be (it was)

But that wasn't even close to being true. Cathedral was ranked in the 60's in California and lost their whole defense. And limped to 6 losses and 107th ranking in state.

Curtis knew exactly what he was getting. I'm not aware of him hyping them up, but damn red flag was! This clown made it seem like they were a powerhouse. Wouldn't shut up about them. But everyone told him they aren't any good. But he wouldn't believe it because they were playing a Lousiana team. The narrative is so obvious it's pathetic. He would rather openly admit he doesn't know what he's talking about than just to tell the truth. Shows you what kind of snake he is
