Just win baby!! Wasn't pretty though, got the stops when it counted. Pittsburgh reminds me of the old Long Beach Poly teams, always shitload of talent but can't seem to get over that hump.

DLS looked terrible on Defense and extremely one dimensional on Offense.... They couldn't stop the pass on Defense and they couldn't pass at all on offense... They won't be able to stop Cen10's offense and they won't be able to score against RSM....

Last years DLS team was better, especially on the lines and RB position, DLS doesn't have a big fast power RB like they did last year to counter the smaller speed guys they have to help them sustain drives... Going to be a long night in the Open for DLS unless whoever they play turns the ball over a bunch....

I agree a win is a win and Congrats to DLS Forsure!.... PITT is a really good and well coached team though and has played DLS tougher than anyone the last 2 years and very well could have won both games....

I really like PITT's new Coach, they are very different then they have been historically, they are disciplined and run a good offensive scheme and no longer just try to out athlete teams with straight ahead runs and throwing bombs.... They picked apart DLS's defense and controlled the game last night, something we have never said about PITT in the past... 🤣

Seems like Pittsburg has been trying to get over the hump for 4 or 5 decades now.

The assumption that MD is head and shoulders above IMG comes from folks who didn't watch the game, or watched casually. IMG is one of the least likeable programs in the country, and so there is added motivation for many to portray their results in as negative a light as possible.

Man that was a terrible game.  I can give some credit to Pitt but DLS looked really bad.  They looked more 'bad' than Pitt looked good IMO.  Could not tackle at all. Passing was a big step backwards.  Line, which has been a weakness, looked weaker.  Still held them to 17 pts with all the plays they had.  It looked like they had a lot of players not play or something.  They shouldn't have taken a step back at this point. 
I felt good about the open for about 1 week and now I don't.  Lol

I watched that game and it was a dogfight.

My feed kept freezing and had to refresh page at least a dozen times.  Sucked.  The other games were fine though. 

Mater Dei is just a mess of a team. Fumbles at the 1, stupid penalties and just bad offense.

The play before the last fg try...wtf were they thinking.  Qb just dropped back and lost 10 yards and made that last attempt a lot harder and allowed kick to be blocked.  This would never have happened with before but with Lara it seems to a likely occurrence.

That Mater Dei QB was awful. His decision making perfectly illustrates Mater Dei this season in a nutshell.

Totally!.... PITT looked Fired up for the game, DLS looked like they thought they were going to just show up and PITT would roll over.... The Defensive lapses were scary, lack of tackling, coverage and adjustments.... To your point, DLS is usually playing their best this time of year, what we saw last night was a step back....

Definitely!... All he could do all year was throw 50/50 balls to Henry and scramble.... Other than that he would turn the ball over or take bad sacks.... Not sure what happened to the highly touted underclassmen and why they didn't go with him instead of this Senior Transfer.... Lara is a terrible coach, no one does less with more talent than him.... The downfall of MD is upon us.... It has been a great run for the Monarch's but getting swept by Cen10 only scoring 6 points against RSM are very bad signs for the future of MD....

MD wasn't as talented as last year to overcome Lara. This was the least talented MD team since 2015 easily.
