IF anyone doesn't think things are Changing in So Cal HSFB they are Crazy.... D1 level kids don't want to sit in the Bench, they want to play....

Tonight was a HUGE indictment on SJB Coach JN.... How does a team like that lose to OLU?.... Just shows he is not a "Great Coach", he just recruits well.... SJB and MD are both going on a downward trend, times are changing in So Cal HSFB....

Quote from: Steeler01 on Nov 14, 2025, 10:01 PMIt gives them a much better chance. Orange lutheran doesn't match up with Bosco on the edges but they match up okay upfront.  The rain neutralizes those edge advantages a lot.

HA!... Really?... the difference for 48-0 to losing to a 3 win team like OLU is the weather?.... 🤣

I would say that's just Terrible Coaching.... JN is not a great coach, Recruiter, year but Coach, No way.... 🤣🤣

Kid couldn't complete a pass all nite bad misses  they were killing them on the ground  when they took the decision out of the kids hand.  When he was forced to make a read he failed and tried to complete a pass when he couldn't/shouldn't

Weather is a huge factor when you're not way better upfront.

I feel like Bosco is still okay, for now.

Mater Dei on the other hand needs a redemption season next year, or their aura is done,

They won't be taken seriously anymore and risk losing the talent draw unless Lara gets his stuff together.

I don't think the rain had too much to do with this play. Maybe, but that's a tough pass to try to complete in perfect conditions
Crazy looking play in the St John Bosco game

How is  This possible?.... SJB has won nothing compared to MD and now they just lost to a 3-7 OLU team.... If you' don't think  SJB is on the decline you are crazy... MD is
As well, and guess what, they both have 2 losse t so cal teams... 🤣🤣🍻

The kids blew it several bad center qb exchanges missed throws batted balls pick 6 .

Loe should have took the ball out of his hands in the rain and just run the ball vs the read and bad decisions.

Missed kicks didn't help either.

OLU played a hell of a game by shorten the clock by keeping on the ground.

Really?
We lose close games to Centennial and Santa Margarita so we won't be taken seriously. That's okay if people don't take us seriously. We still may win state and end up national #1 in computer polls because of SOS.

I was at the game when they played De LaSalle, he's the real deal, was the only one who could muster any offense against the DLS defense. I think LB will be the best place for him at the next level if he gains 20 pounds. Hopefully USC can get a hold of him.

He had a night last night!!

"It was his fifth touchdown run of the game with scores of 47, 17, 14, 57 and 43 yards. He finished the game with 18 carries for 255 yards."

Goes to show you how elite DLS is on defense this year. With their passing game coming together they have a real shot at the open championship this year.

I agree but MD receivers are damn good.  SM would be a really interesting game and a nice change of pace.  Cen10 would be a tough out too, but DLS seems to play them better than anybody over the years.  Really looking forward to the Open and it's been a long time since that was the case.  Hope they get everybody healthy.  Has Chase Young even played this year?

Whoa easy now. Gotta get by Pitt first. Then the NorCal playoff game.

Actually on second thought, you are right. 🤣
