Imagine this happening to your number 2 team by Stephenville

Stephenville shut the Bearcats out in the first half and did not allow them to get in the end zone until late in the fourth quarter.

Stephenville has a bye week next week before traveling to Marble Falls in district play. Ruston opens District 2-5A play against Ouachita Parish for its first in-state game since Week 1.

FOURTH QUARTER

-TOUCHDOWN RUSTON. The Bearcats are not going away as Hartwell hits Dalen Powell for a short touchdown pass. The extra point is no good. (Stephenville, 28-12).

-TOUCHDOWN STEPHENVILLE. Stephenville stops Ruston on the following drive and then goes on a methodical drive. McClendon runs it in from a yard out and the Yellow Jackets are 3:43 away from winning this game. (Stephenville, 28-6).

Looking at the rankings, Rockwell-Heath would be 3rd in Louisiana, and San Juan Hills would be 6th.

Keep that context when Red Flag tried and craps on these teams

If the CIFSS D1 playoffs started today this is what the bracket would look like (assuming 8 teams in D1). Kinda wild to see SJB and MD on the same side of the bracket.

According to the daisy chain Perriman would be 3rd In Louisiana. JC and Beaumont Ca both beat Cathedral Ca by similar scores.Beaumont just lost to Cajon who lost to Perriman Tx

Sounds like Beaumont and Permian would be top 5 in Lousiana with Cajon and Cathedral not too far behind.

Lousiana is a garbage football state. I think they have like 2 teams in the top 200.

Thanks brother!! Much appreciated!

That is mos def a murders row of teams to get through.  Its SJB's year and they will not be denied. SC might be able to slow them down some, but that's about it.

SJB vs MD in the second round would only be like the 2nd time in the last 7-8 years that there would be no MD vs SJB final....

People are talking about SSD1 being Competitive.... Not for SJB, they look really good.... I like their Sophmore QB.... Kid shows a lot of Poise back there....

You have to have a powerhouse offense to beat SJB, they are just too good....

This is probably the best all around SJB team I can remember since 2018. The scary thing is they should be even better next year as their Junior class is probably the most loaded.

21-7 SJB
