Early Preseason No Drama Top 10 Poll based on my early observations and travels. Will most likely change as I gather more information.

1-STA, FL (could be one of their best teams ever)
Might have their most talented Senior Class in school history.
I know the Trinity League clowns don't want to hear that, but it's true.

2-St John Bosco, CA
3-St Francis, MD
4-Mater Dei, CA
5-Bishop Gorman, NV
6-Brentwood Academy, TN
7-DeSoto, TX
8-North Shore, TX
9-Carrollton, GA

10- Basha, AZ
10- Buford, GA

Louisiana has 3 possible teams that could play their way into a Top 10 ranking depending what happens nationally.

John Curtis (NOLA)
Ruston
Catholic (Baton Rouge)

I'm not as high on Edna this year as I was the last two years. They just have to replace way too much. I mean they're still going to look like Edna Karr, but they just won't be the same.

Ruston Is absolutely loaded with skill players.
If their young OL/DL gel they could be a monster.

A legit chance Ruston has 2 5" prospects this year.

Everyone knows about 5* TE/WR Ahmad Hudson (LSU commit)

But they may not know about 4* RB Dalen Powell in the 2028 class. He's in that early 5* range.
Currently the #2 rated RB in the nation In that class.

Ruston 4*  LB Shemar Evans and 4* DB Jayden Anding are also players to watch this year for Ruston..

Your Top 10 has 11 teams listed. In your travels and deep dive into all these teams you couldn't give Basha or Buford one of the "just missed"?

I have Basha tied with Buford just for Woody. 👍😁

Basha has quite a bit of talent (most talented senior class ever most likely) but they'll fuck it up and end up somewhere in the Top 25, maybe Top 30.

Arizona only has 3 somewhat meaningful OOS games that I see so far.

Liberty plays Corner Canyon, UT again.
Corner Canyon put a running clock on Liberty last year 46-14. Probably be a dud game this year too

Basha plays Orange Lutheran, CA.> might be ok if both teams aren't on "recruiting probation" by then.

Chandler plays Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) again> whatever!

Hamilton plays Arbor View, NV.> That's a dud or it should be a dud.

Catholic got thrown around by a MAIS Mississippi team. They will get butt dented by Carrollton. Same with Curtis and North Shore.


And I wouldn't have had Karr top 10 last year. They needed an overtime miracle against a not top 90 team who was without their QB and WR and no other win was national top 100.

The top Louisiana team has played only 1 national top 100 team last year and needed overtime against them when they didn't have their QB and WR.

No other team was top 100.

And they got some magic ranking somehow because of it.

The top Arizona team would have to play at least 3 national top 100 teams to get the same ranking.

It's obvious Arbor View would be in the Lousinana top 10.

It doesn't take much to be in the LA top 10. Escambia finished 93rd in FL and they beat the living crap out of State top 10 Archbishop Rummel. It's not a big deal
