Lake Charles, La is the perfect location for this game. Couldn't be better.
It's 2 hours from Houston to Lake Charles. It's 3 hours from New Orleans to Lake Charles.

McNeese State Stadium is one of the nicest and largest FCS football stadiums in the nation with a capacity of about 18,000.

North Shore has never traveled out of Texas. Those Houston people are going to eat Lake Charles up.

North Shore is a Texas powerhouse who won multiple state titles the last decade or so.

John Curtis won about 40 or 50 Louisiana state titles, but always seems to find bad or past their prime OOS teams to play.

But once every 2 decades, Curtis mans up and plays a real team.

Curtis played them in 2014. Almost a decade after being relevant(2006 was the last time they were a top Texas team).
