Quote from: Wooderson on May 09, 2026, 07:33 AMHoover had three one score games and both their losses were by 14. Good team that had a ton of talent in the trenches but that's one of those things where I ask myself if they'd have been as highly-regarded without the MTV name recognition and being an early adapter to OOS games.

Well, before the John Curtis game in 2006 they were an Alabama 6A Dynasty.

Hoover has 13 state championships, winning 7 of them before 2006.

Hoover had the hype in 2006 and the players. Rush called it his most talented team. They wanted that MNC badly.
MTV bought into the hype.

In reality Rush failed Hoover in 2006.

Quote from: Steeler01 on May 09, 2026, 09:25 AMThe same Trinity that beat the division 1 champ Northshore that year?
That mediocre Trinity?

That's the one.

Euless Trinity lost 2nd Rd of the 5A Playoffs to (7-5) South Grand Prairie.

While DLS rapes CA and is gifted yet another MNC.

What a pile of shit.....

You failed to mention that.
Didn't feel the need to, but if you insist. Off the top of my head I would say MUS, Riverdale (more so in the 90's, but still a powerhouse around the same time as WM and ECA), BA, Lipscomb and McCallie//Baylor in today's age. That's 6 teams right there. You just had to open that can of worms, swampturd. All of those teams would've sliced through Lousyana like a knife through warm butter. Only Curtis a couple of their years and last year's Karr team might've posed a threat to them.

Quote from: Redzone on May 09, 2026, 09:15 AMYou know what's crazy is in 2015 DLS won the MaxPreps National Championship, yet they were spanked by an OK Trinity, TX team  26-21.

DLS baby sealed California.

MaxPreps is so terrible, but Steeler01 is much worse
He has the logic of an imbecile. Just bizarre stuff coming out of his head.
DLS would've waxed Trinity at the end of that season.
