Truth be told, I had forgotten there was a Cathedral in Los Angeles till this site brought them up. Most usually talk about Cathedral Catholic out of SD.  Which is a very good team.

Quote from: Nolebull813 on May 08, 2026, 09:06 AMA Lousiana team has never even played a team as highly ranked as last years Mater Dei. Let alone win a game. Mater Dei still finished top 10 in the country.

This pile of shit red flag is trying to diss a team for losing a 3 point game to a national top 10 team. When no Louisiana team has even played one.

And to his question who hasn't beat STA? The answer is state champ John Curtis

2000 West Monroe defeated defending National Champion Midland Lee and Cedric Benson 36-8,  Lee was still # 1 in some polls and went on to win their 3rd consecutive Texas 5A Championship

Bad ass team! Lousyana hasn't had a team that could sniff their jock in almost 30 years.

Tennessee has never had one.
You failed to mention that.

Evangel Christian beat Texas State Champ Lufkin, TX and South Carolina State Champ Byrnes when they were rolling with their dynasty.

John Curtis is actually 1-1 playing National Preseason #1 teams...... both on the road.

John Curtis 28 Hoover, AL 14

Euless Trinity, TX 28 John Curtis 13...... that was the year John Curtis traveled to Texas when a hurricane was actually hitting Louisiana. I thought Curtis played pretty well honestly.
Trinity was up 7-6 at halftime. Trinity scored a TD with about 45 seconds left to make it look worse than it really was.

John Curtis was Preseason #23 that year.

2008 Euless Trinity Preseason #1

Trinity had a bunch of games that year that were within 10 points

Trinity 17 Keller 10
Trinity 35 Heritage 28
Trinity 30 Bell 20
Trinity 42 Plano 35

You want to talk about overranked teams, Trinity is a perfect example

Hoover had three one score games and both their losses were by 14. Good team that had a ton of talent in the trenches but that's one of those things where I ask myself if they'd have been as highly-regarded without the MTV name recognition and being an early adapter to OOS games.

Whatever.
You always play stupid childish games.
If a great team plays a couple of close games within their state the great team Is then overrated.
If a great team blows up every team within their state then the state sucks period. Same tired bullshit different year.

I can play "close games" all day long with any state in the nation especially California, but I'm not a kid

Trinity also beat 15-1 Allen 24-14 in the regular season
Allen was #1 in Texas and #5 nationally at the end of the year....... Allen beat Trinity in the 4th Rd of the Texas 5A playoffs In the rematch game.

Trinity also blew out 12-2 Cedar Hill 37-14.
Cedar Hill was really good back in those days.

Anyways, you fail yet again.

John Curtis played a much much better version of Euless Euless Trinity than DLS, CA did.

Euless Trinity clubbed DLS 27-21 or something like that.
Didn't DLS win state? Let me go check all that s*** out.

Nah, I don't have to really..

You know what's crazy is in 2015 DLS won the MaxPreps National Championship, yet they were spanked by an OK Trinity, TX team  26-21.

DLS baby sealed California.

MaxPreps is so terrible, but Steeler01 is much worse
He has the logic of an imbecile. Just bizarre stuff coming out of his head.

Number 1 teams don't have multiple close games vs crap teams.

Allen also switched QBs later in the season that year.

Cedar Hill was a solid team nothing special during that time frame. Their district was awful during that time span.  Their best years came after 2012(2006 prior to that with Will Cole the QB draw play over and over).

The same Trinity that beat the division 1 champ Northshore that year?
That mediocre Trinity?
