John Curtis won a 3A state championship that year. John Curtis also lost to 4-loss 5A St Aug and Leonard Fournette that year..... Archbishop Rummel beat St Aug and Leonard Fournette in the 5A state playoffs. Imagine that.

John Curtis is not racking up the 5A state championships like they did in 4A, 3A, and 2A.

What you can't make up is how little you know about CA HSFB.... Loyola is D5, Back when they beat SJB they were a D1 Contender every year then the School Deemphasized FB and SJB rose to prominence and Loyola became.... Wait for it.... Irrelevant.... But somehow beating a D5 Loyola team who is 5-5 this year is the same as beating Loyola when they were a top program in So Cal... 🤣
