Quote from: Redzone on Sep 08, 2025, 02:43 PMWhat's embarrassing in St John Bosco scheduling Eastwood (El Paso, Texas) 2 years in a row.

What's better?
John Curtis bearing CA #66 Cathedral 56-26
or
St John Bosco beating FL #81 Manatee 31-0 (game called)
Lowndes County, GA beating FL #81 Manatee 42-7

Anyways, that said.
No one here really knows how good John Curtis is. They had a losing record going into the playoffs last year (5-6)..... They won two playoff games with one huge upset win.
They may lose 5 or 6 games this year....

Bosco actually plays elite teams.  I don't know why Bosco would schedule that game, but nobody is starting threads on that game.

Starting a thread or not starting a thread is totally irrelevant.
Sort of like you starting an Arch Manning  thread.

St John Bosco, the "National Elite" football program scheduled a Texas team not even in the Texas Top 500....  twice!!

John Curtis lost 6 games last year and finished 5th in the NOLA Catholic League...... worst season for John Curtis since the 1970s

Surely, even someone with your limited intelligence can understand the difference.
And on top of it St John Bosco scheduled some s*** Florida team.
Of course the way Florida has sucked maybe that's not entirely their fault this year.

Bosco also scheduled SFA. When is the last time Curtis scheduled a top OOS school? 2013?

Last year and it has nothing to do with St John Bosco or you being upset about Cathedral.

If they were to lose in Texas this weekend San Juan Hills becomes garbage who lost to "something team called something team" last year. Comedy Gold! 😮😭

Prior to this year, and you posting about this game,  San Juan Hills was an unknown team. They're at least playing a team that's not routinely at the very top of their state. Cathedral was just blown out by Beaumont and you're telling people you expected better from them 😆.

He desperately seeks attention even if it's negative. It's sad. Louisiana for the most part is irrelevant nationally. That's not being subjective. When you have been apart of any national HSFB board no one speaks of Lousiana football except him. There have been a few posters from there that speak about their team but that's normal. They don't even talk about the state. Just their team and opponents.

Point is no one gives this clown any attention, so he desperately tries to get it and will use any absurd and brain dead info to get it. Trying to hype up freaking Beaumont. LMAO! It would be funnier if it wasn't so damn sad and pathetic

Cathedral (Los Angeles) was Preseason #11 in this California poli and they were highly regarded in several other polls.

That's the team John Curtis traveled 2000 miles to play. They could have just played a quality Mississippi team

It's not my fault they didn't live up to the hype and were garbage. Blame the people making your polls in California.

The week prior, they were blown out. They were down 30+ in the 4th to a desert team.

That preseason poll is just the LA area. Plus it's some random pencil pusher. Like his word is the gospel.

Curtis knew what they were getting into. Free win vs inferior team.

Anyways, there's nothing else here, but the blowout score and John Curtis setting the school rushing record....642 Yards vs Cathedral.

Did Cathedral suck so bad when Bryce Young played for them? 👍🤭

Later, dudes.

Just a Quick Look. Cathedral hasn't finished in the top 50 in the state in 10 years. Their best finish was 68th.

They have had a history of mediocrity. Literally no tangible evidence that would suggest that they would be any better than the norm for them this year. And the fact that you can go 10-1 (9-2 on the field losing to Narbonne) and end up outside the top 65 in state proves how bad the schedule was.

Curtis knew all this. Hes a pussy who likes to beat up on outmanned and outclassed teams

Hmmm, ok.   .. throw in one team from Northern California and one team from San Diego if you have to or want to.

That said> Metro Los Angeles has a population of over 13 million people.

I've never in my life seen someone try so hard to make some mediocre team look so good. It's pathetic. And embarrassing. In that order.
