The site has never really gone down fully. You just can't login or do anything other than view it. It hasn't changed as far as I can tell..

The whole situation is bizarre. Makes you wonder what the owner is possibly getting out of running a forum that nobody can log into, let alone post on.

The cheapest plan for Invision is $89/month. He likely just stopped paying for the subscription because he was losing money despite running ads on the site, though I can't be 100% sure. This forum costs less than that to run for an entire year and I don't plan on ever trying to make money off the forum, so as long as you guys keep using it, I'll keep hosting it...

Yesterday was the first time I actually saw the forum when trying to access the site.

 I had been getting a white page with an error message on it filled with a bunch of error gibberish.

Just weird to me. If the URL is still active is he still paying for it?

The site needs two things: a domain and a host. Public records show that the domain is registered and paid for through next year (looks like he renewed it in 2024 for 2 years) and the site is hosted by Invision. That means the forum is unavailable due to some reason with the host (Invision). Anything more would just be speculation unless we heard from the PG admin.
