Just so you know.
This kid put on a clinic at Edna Karr's scrimmage a couple days ago. He's a quality transfer and going to be a real weapon.
I'm hearing Edna Karr may have picked up 3 more transfers. One has definitely transferred into Edna Karr, but is waiting to be cleared. If they get that kid they will have some legit speed at slot......3* Slot/WR  Greg Wilfred 5-9 175 lbs,  been clocked at 4.38 in the Forty. He's from our 5A power Destrehan.
Of course I will confirm all this if it happens. Transfers In this quantity are very rare in Louisiana.

Anyways don't want to steal Xavier Owens thunder.
I think Narbonne lost their entire team. The studs anyway. Narbonne has been banned from the playoffs for 3 years in California.

Background and context.

A number of Narbonne High School football players transferred out following sanctions in April 2025, including a three-year playoff ban and forfeiture of their 2024 championship due to rule violations. These transfers, along with coaches leaving, contributed to an exodus from the program, creating a challenging situation for the newly hired coach to rebuild the team.

Context of Transfers and Sanctions
Investigation and Violations:
In late 2024 and early 2025, an investigation by the L.A. Unified School District and the L.A. City Section uncovered rule violations, including using ineligible players.
Player Ineligibility:
Seven football players were declared ineligible to play in November 2024, and the program ultimately faced more severe sanctions.

Sanctions Imposed:
In April 2025, the City Section banned Narbonne from the playoffs for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 seasons and ordered them to vacate their 2024 City Section Open Division championship.

Impact of the Sanctions
Exodus of Players and Coaches:
Following these penalties and the investigation, there was an "exodus" of players and coaches from the Narbonne program.

Narbonne has been a mess for years now.Their league refused to play them last year because everyone knew they were cheating except for the City section apparently.Good for the kid that he landed at a good school

Not so long ago Narbonne had a great 3 or 4 year run finishing Top 5 in CA a couple years, I believe.

Those teams were pretty athletic from what I remember.

He'll fit in nicely at Edna Karr. Kind of strange how he ended up in NOLA, but that's for a different day. I'm not really going to research it all that much. He's here.

I don't know
Edna Karr looks like a college team. Like I said, very similar to what St Frances looks like, but Edna Karr has a much better QB though (Liberty commit).

Edna Karr can win if:
1-they pound the rock behind a massive OL.
Edna Karr's best RB is a junior with Auburn, Florida State, Houston, Baylor offers so far they have 2 other RBs
committed to the next level

2-Don't lose containment on 5* AHP QB  Dia Bell. Edna Karr loves to blitz and use their speed, but they have to keep a spy on Dia Bell.

Edna Karr will lose if:
1-the game becomes an offensive shootout. Edna Karr's QB is electric and throws a beautiful ball, but you don't want to shoot out with a 5* QB. ESPN has AHP QB Dia Bell rated the #1 QB in the nation.

2-miss a lot of tackles on the outside. Edna Karr has one of the best secondaries in the nation (LSU, Texas, Colorado, Vanderbilt commits). If these cats can tackle and keep everything in front of them they  will be ok.

Should be a great game   I just hope it's quality streamed or  on TV somewhere. A lot of the streams at the Superdome are shot from so high up it really ruins it.
Anyways, is what it is either way win, lose or draw!

Irrelevant Note:
Edna Karr built a brand new modern high school in 2020. I think the final cost was over $60 million. It's new and nice.
Located right on the world famous Mississippi River.

They built a football field which looks like it's directly in the Mississippi River. They are planning on adding some home/visitor stands and press box. I need to check on that. Seems like they had three or four meetings on that last year.
Right now they just practice on the field and play their home games up the street In a stadium that's almost 100 years old.

Anyways, when you think of Edna Karr they are a Mississippi River School. For sure. 👇
