Great win for Centennial. Of course, it has absolutely zero bearing on the mythical "national championship" as that has been reserved for whoever wins the second Mater Dei-SJB game. IMO, there's a good chance we'll have a 2-loss national champion. SJB will defeat Mater Dei in the first game. But, the 2-loss Monarchs will avenge that loss in the Open Bowl title game and win their 417th consecutive national championship.

And that's why HS football has never been more interesting.

I actually think MD will be fine in the end if that MD team that showed up in the second half shows up to every game.... If they lose 1 more game though, Lara may not make it through the season... 🤣

I don't think MD plays like this under Rollo.  I just don't.  I like Lara but he doesn't seem to be a 'attention to every detail' coach like Rollo was.  There have been transfers that played more cohesively than this team does IMO.

Totally! Agree!.... They need a real MD guy there, Lara is not it.... You can be the Alumni are not happy at all.... But that's what happens when your Principal is a Servite guy and your HFB Coach is a LBP guy.... 🤣

Sounds like they are really good, when they beat someone of note, I will take notice.... Last Year Folsom Supposedly had 20 guys with D1 Offers/Commitments including a D lineman committed to Texas who was an absolute monster.... The best they could do was lose to a 6 loss Serra team and lose to PITT who I think had 4 or 5 D1 players and bouncing Folsom in the D1AA Nor Cal Regional game....

With all that talent they should Dominate OLU so if they do that, I will take notice.... Unfortunately after that, their schedule stinks so we won't know until the D1 playoffs... The good news is, they will get their chance to prove themselves there against MD, Cen10, SJB, MV, RSM, etc....

It's possible this Sierra Canyon defense could have 7 USC commits on it ....of course a couple would have to flip, but it's possible.
