It's like I'm stuck with all the prepgridiron.com undesirables.

All the quality posters have found bigger and better things.

My own fault, I guess

Quote from: Redzone on Sep 07, 2026, 11:47 AMYeah, I guess that makes a lot of sense.

Thanks for clearing up why Santa Margaritaville scheduled th #362 team in California.

John Curtis caught hell for scheduling the #66 team in California at the time.

Love your logic. It was right there and I just didn't see it. Thanks!
John Curtis played Cathedral at home as their OOS game.

Santa Margarita filled their schedule with a team 120 miles away.

No difference between those two.

skip said there's no difference between the two teams Cathedral and Highland.

https://www.maxpreps.com/ca/palmdale/highland-bulldogs/football/25-26/schedule/

Highland was barely a Top 600 team in California last year.
Now do Cathedral's, skip. That's right > you don't have the balls.

skip is full of shit

Shame on Santa Margaritaville!

Here, I'll do it for you, skip
Cathedral was 10-1 and # 68 in California when Curtis scheduled them.

Almost identical teams, skip. You nailed it.
What kind of drugs are you on, skip?

I didn't say that. I should've added sarcasm at the bottom when I said no difference between the two. You traveled over 1k to face a crap team as opposed to play a team 120 miles away from home whose a schedule filler.

Why would you play a team 1k miles away as your OOS game when they're not a premier team.

Santa margarita is playing a team 120 miles away as a schedule filler. They didn't travel to Texas for example to play their 68th best team the previous year.

Put the pipe down, skip.

You were wrong 3 times in one post.

Really not interested in your other bullshit.

Santa Margaritaville scheduled #536 Highland. Oh wait, 120 miles away Highland.

End of the discussion .

Cathedral lost their entire team practically which in turn made them lose five more games the year Curtis played them. John Curtis knew they lost everyone and would be a 6-6 type team.

Highland is probably ranked nationally where West Point and Louisville were last year

Quote from: Belly Bob on Aug 29, 2026, 04:06 PMWhen was the last time DLS's first three TDs were touchdown passes? The kid can do something that I haven't seen a DLS QB do in 10 years -- go through his reads, find the open receiver, and deliver a catchable ball.

But then Deuce was averaging 2 yards per carry. So, we'll see.

Hope this finds you well BB. We've learned at least a couple things in the last few weeks:

1) AI Agents escaped containment, started leaving notes for each other, referring to themselves as 'the collective,' began breaking into things, and covering their tracks.

AND

2) DLS abandoned the veer in favor of passing for TD's.

Coincidence? You decide. For all we know, the AI Agents got into the DLS playbook, and DLS just started running pass plays... ;)

Nice to see a DLS QB that can throw. His mobility helps. Can't help but think he's gong to need it when they play a team from the South (can't erase last year's state game fiasco from my retinas). The receiver, Dean (I think), also looks legit.

Quote from: TheOC89 on Sep 05, 2026, 09:46 PMTotally agree, they need them back for the Cen10 game.... That game is so important now because if DLS loses they are out of the open with Folsoms's win over MV....

Hmmm. Is this really right? Caveat: I've not seen either Folsom or MV play this year. BUT I didn't think Cardinal Newman looked to be all that. Which, through the entirely infallible transitive property of HS football ;), causes me to wonder how good Folsom and MV really are this year.

Not sure why a win over a different team from the south would be more important than results against a common opponent. CN took Folsom to OT. DLS put a running clock on CN. But then again, I've lost track of how the selection criteria works anymore.

I agree with you that DLS looks like the Best Team, And Serra went on the Road and Beat Kahuku.... I am not sure that Folsom would beat either DLS or Serra, those teams know how to Shut down Folsoms offense....

And MV is not good this year, they may be in SSD2, they do not have a good QB and they way they played it looked like they thought they were just going to get if the Bus and roll Folsom.... They were awful....

The North will give the Open to The Undefeated team, the only thing that could prevent that would be for MV to lose multiple games including a loss to PITT next week at home.... There is no play in game due to the Folsom rule, so this will be the year Folsom actually benefits from The Folsom rule because there is no way Folsom loses another game, their schedule is Trash....

So DLS has no option other then to Beat Cen10, which they can actually do this year as long as the QB keeps playing well, their speed is off the charts....
