I don't know about Top 25.... Their Schedule is pretty weak overall because of their league.... Their Best opponent they play is Steele Canyon who they Beat for the D2 Title in San Diego.... Which is equal to like D 4 or 5 in the Southern Section....

Not really, but that's because I watched the game. Offense was hard for SM, needing accurate throws into tight windows by Palmer to avoid in a super low-scoring game. It was basically the same game as Central-Jones, except one of Jones' INTs vs. Central went back for a TD.

Santa Margarita's win was not a total laugher where the teams appeared mismatched. It was a game where a young QB and offense played poorly and the game gradually ended lopsided. Jones put up much more of a fight than DLS did in the title game.
