Colton is a 4* QB headed to Georgia.
I'm glad he found a home finally.
His dad was hired by the NOLA Saints as the OC last year

Rummel opens the season with U-High (Baton Rouge).
So we get Colton Nussmeier vs Knox Kiffin, both transfers.
U-High will be very good in 2026.

Kiffin is a 2028 prospect who has been picking up some nice offers

U-High actually picked up 4 big time transfers from Mississippi this year, Kiffin being one of them..

How good have they been traditionally both in state and nationally?

But there's no transfers in Louisiana that are for athletics. The same player that can't play in Texas just transferred to Rummel with no issues.

I see this forum is bright as it ever was. Probably explains why only 6 or 7 people really post at this forum.

Colton Nussmeier almost transferred to Rummel last year when his dad first got the OC job with the Saints.

Texas doesn't have a damn thing to do with Louisiana when it comes to transfers.
Colton Nussmeier will live with his dad in NOLA and not at some high school dormitory, 3rd cousin, booster or assistant coach.

Colton Nussmeier tried to transfer in Texas, was ruled ineligible and then moved in with his dad in New Orleans. His dad has been the offensive coordinator for the Saints for a year now.

Try selling that crap of he's playing for Rummel cause his dad is the offensive coordinator for the Saints somewhere else.  Appealed being ineligible in Texas, was denied, then moved to Louisiana.

Like I said.
I don't give a damn what happened in Texas.
He's at Rummel for a year and living with his father.
Sue Rummel!

I'm definitely not going to spend a whole lot of time arguing with some dumb knucklehead on the internet. Those days are over

"Since the spring, he and his family have dealt with a prolonged eligibility dispute in Texas, which ended with a decision to come together in Jefferson Parish and enroll at Rummel. In fact, when Doug Nussmeier was named to Kellen Moore's staff in February 2025, the family considered enrolling at Rummel at that time"

Considered means nothing.  The facts are he played at a Texas high school and tried to transfer to a different Texas high school. He was ruled ineligible in Texas and then went to Rummel. We've heard from you that Louisiana doesn't play that. That's not reality now is it.

Anyways, U-High scored big this off season especially on offense.

In addition to 3* QB Knox Kiffin.   .U-High also picked up a 4* RB from Lafayette Christian, La, 3* WR from Mississippi, and most likely a 5* offensive lineman from Mississippi in the 2029 class. They all have serious offer lists..... And they are all young.

When Lane Kiffin got the LSU job he hired Kevin Smith from Ole Miss as LSU's RB coach.....Smith's son Jr transferred to U-High from Oxford too, same school Knox Kiffin went to last year
https://247sports.com/player/kevin-smith-jr-46148734/

U-High is located on the campus of LSU and they've always been a Louisiana power, but I think their future is going to be even brighter with Lane kiffin just a couple minutes away.

A few years ago, they hosted the 91st ranked Florida team at home, and got beat down 21-8.

They still finished top 10 in Lousiana, but losing to the 91st ranked FL team has kept a cloud over their head for some time.

And if that wasn't bad enough, they never returned the trip, and instead drove 1,000 miles away to avoid playing them again. Lol.

Sad
