To the Texas posters here (or those who follow), who's in the Top 10 mix?

I've been out of the loop all year and I figure Westlake will probably beat Lake Travis again this year until proven otherwise. They are the premier program of the Austin area now and the torch has been passed. They have LT's number but hopefully this changes.

I would love to see some new someones pull a North Crowley this year and unexpectedly take down the usual powers again.

If I had to choose a ten in no order: a lot of the usual 😞

North Crowley
Carroll
Longview
Duncanville
Westlake
Lake Travis
Allen
DeSoto
Atascocita
North Shore

Along with the usual suspects I have a few dark horses

1. Ridge point-might be the most talented team in 6A this season. 25 D1 (14 P4) kids
2. Summer creek - consistently plays deep into the POs past few years, could see them in Arlington in Dec
3. Lewisville - very young and talented team last year, could challenge for the region this year
4. Guyer - '27 class is one of the best in 6A
5. Longview-may have one of the best QBs in 6A, a FG away from playing in title last season, return a loud group

Not a dark horse but a reigning champ:  Vandegrift should be included as a top 10

Nah, but they do have a nice senior class.
