They're close to the border with Florida. West Broward is the only school not in North Florida they face. The three North Florida schools are all much closer to them than anyone in the Atlanta metro area...

I would have liked to see them play Mandarin, St Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Nease and Bolles (in the regular season). Not the garbage they have played the last decade plus. West Broward was decent but other than them, it has been a landfill of garbage for years and years. And the AD has never been shy of admitting he needs easy games because the region is so tough and doesn't want to get banged up. And when Coach Herron was there he would laugh at you if you told him a team inside the state top 100 was willing and able. Hell he wouldn't even play state top 200 teams most of the time. This year is much better but not by much

The Bolles School is a bona fide Florida Power and should man handle Camden County who (6-4) last year.

I can't remember The  Bolles School ever playing Camden County.

Huge game for Florida after last year debacle.

it's a preseason scrimmage that doesn't count. So I'm not sure how much it will do for anyone other than praying no one gets hurt before week 1.

That debacle included beating the Ohio State Champ and having a 5 loss team with no QB or WR bring one of the best Louisiana teams in state history into overtime. Lol.

Louisiana had 4 games last year that summed up the entire season.

Neville getting running clocked by no name Mississippi team. And

Baton Rouge Catholic losing to a MAIS Mississippi team

Ruston who finished top 5 in the state getting crushed by some cow dump 4A Texas team

Edna Karr is national top 10 in every poll and one of the best teams in the history of La and needed a miracle to beat a 5 loss team. A team who played 14 games with a real QB and starting D1 WR and 1 game without a QB and WR and Karr was the 1 game. And they needed a miracle Hail Mary first down and 40 yard FG to send the game to OT. All with the help of the refs all game.

Almost every FL loss was to national top 100 powerhouses. More national top 100 teams than Louisiana has played in the maxproes era combined.

LA is small ball and always will be

What's your outlook on Florida this year?

The state was pretty embarrassing last year losing over a 100  OOS games.

Rivals even did a story on Florida last year. I will try to find it It was pretty telling.

Anyways, can't be much worse this year .

Wasn't worse than Lousiana. Lousiana had 4 OOS games and went 1-3 and the 1 win was with their number 1 team against a 5 loss team.

The problem you have is you think Junction City AR and Cow Poke Texas are the same as Mater Dei and St Frances Academy

I read on one of the Florida High School Football Forums that they pay their coaches a couple hundred dollars a year and a lot of the schools do not have enough footballs to have legitimate practices........ that definitely ciuld be a problem!

Have you ever heard of someone say that they don't care if they lose every game as long as they beat their rival?

That's how I feel about Louisiana. Lol. It doesn't matter how bad Florida stinks it up as long as they are better than Louisiana then it was a good year.. LMAO

That's true. They are volunteers essentially. And they can still compete nationally win lose or draw. 1 or 2 years of barely losing to a bunch of national top 10, 50, and 100 teams does not undo the last 2 decades of beating about 20 different state's State champs.

Now Losioana on the other hand has decades of their top teams losing to 2nd round Texas teams and obscure no name Mississippi and Arkansas teams. SMDH

Red flag still brags about some top ranked to Louisiana team beating Lufkin in 2001. Lol  seems like Louisiana only gets a top win once every 20+ years or so.

So I get why red flags spams high school football message boards with top rank Louisiana teams playing obscure no name teams ranked outside of their state top 100 like cathedral California or Legacy, Texas

It was 4 and that's a lot. But remember that Evangel won 3 straight Louisiana state championships in a row and lost to 3 OOS games each year!!!! That's 3 for the year by 1 team every year for 3 years!!!!
