They lost to American Heritage Plantation in the semifinals 31-15.

Of course Thompson was the Alabama 7A State Champion in 2025.

Choctaw is nowhere near Thompson's level. Anyone with eyes and football knowledge can see it's a mismatch. Choctaw had a once a decade team that was good for the panhandle. Thompson is a national powerhouse. They played Grayson to a 1 point game the last 2 years and Grayson was top 50 right along with them.

But Choctaw and the panhandle of Florida in general are like 65-30 against the entire state of Louisana the last 70 years or so. So they got that going for them.

Ruston, Baton Rouge Catholic and Neville were all top teams this past year and they took it on the chin against no name nobodies. Not national top 10-25 powerhouses. Hell they were barely top 25 in Mississippi and Texas. Lol.
