The rematch!

The last time St Aug was in the Superdome the year was 1979...... they won state and ended up #3 Nationally.

Everyone knew St Aug would be trouble if they ever got the right coaching staff.
Looks like they got that figured out. Robert Valdez/staff has the Purple Knights playing for a State Championship in 2 years.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if there's between 40,000 and 45,000 in the Dome for this rematch game.
When St Aug won state in 1978 there were 45,000 in the Superdome to watch Aug beat Jesuit in a all NOLA Champ Game .

Last night St Aug had a huge crowd at Tad Gormley Stadium in the rain. Looked like they maybe had 10,000 to 12,000 on their side.Tad Gormley Stadium holds just under 27,000 people.
