Deserves their own thread. A play-in game if you will

Friday night ABC 7:00 p.m.
ACC Championship Game at Tulane Stadium.

Winner goes to the College Football Playoffs.
Very similar situations at each school.

North Texas is losing their head coach Eric Morris to Oklahoma State.
Tulane is losing their head coach Jon Sumrall to Florida.

Neither of these teams is going to win a College Football National Championship, but it's still a big deal to both schools/programs and means a lot to Denton, TX and NOLA.

That's a nice bump up for Jon Sumrall.
Tulane was paying him $3 million annually..

Tulane has become the school where you go to make a name for yourself, I guess....... they lost Willie Fritz couple years ago now Sumrall.

That's pretty remarkable.
The AAC football conference is obviously where you go when you need an up and coming head football coach.

"As of late November 2025, four American Athletic Conference (AAC) head coaches accepted "big time" Power Four jobs: Jon Sumrall (Tulane to Florida), Ryan Silverfield (Memphis to Arkansas), Alex Golesh (South Florida to Auburn), and Eric Morris (North Texas to Oklahoma State)."

Well, since my Rummel Raiders got put out of the playoffs last week It's all about Tulane tonight.

It's going to be a tough game for Tulane.
North Texas averages 47 points per game and has one of the best offenses in the nation.

Can the Centennial, CA QB lead Tulane to the College Football Playoffs? His legs may be the difference.

Arkansas gets almost $53 million a year just for being in the SEC.....

That's not chump change!

Arkansas is a 3rd tier program.

History, when integration wasn't a thing.  Princeton is rich in history as well. They're a power as well huh?

When's the last time Arkansas finished in the top 4 in football?

They've had 1 top 5 finish in the last 40 years.

The picture just ain't coming in very clear for you. You may need to adjust your antenna. 🤠🏈🤠

Arkansas still ranks #21 in all-time AP poll appearances even with the lean years.

This kind of stuff doesn't matter though and is irrelevant.
.
If this coach goes to Arkansas and kicks ass he's in a place that can give him a $2 million dollar bump or whatever raise.

Arkansas total revenue 72-84 million
Minnesota 90.7 million revenue in 2024

Minnesota is a power program according to you.
