Like I said.

"Yorba Linda Went 11-2 in 2024 (last year) ending up #22 in California (HSFA) and #21 (MaxPreps)'

Barbe was 6-5 in 2024 and #68 in Louisiana.

Steeler01 Is throwing everything he can, but nothing is sticking.

Barbe was 5-5,........ gave up 70 points to one of our 3A Privates.

What part of that are you missing exactly?

Barbe could easily be 9-3.

Yes or no

And then we have this knucklehead.

What does me saying San Juan Hills lost to a good Yorba Linda team have to do with Louisiana's #26 Seed pulling off back to back upsets in the Louisiana 5A "Public" playoffs?

 The internet is crazy!!

It's crazy really.
Barbe's best football player is a LSU Tiger baseball commit.....RB Jordin Griffin.
Griffin is the #7 rated baseball prospect in the 2027 class.
Griffin committed to LSU in the 8th grade.

He's a hell of a RB too. He has run all over Northwood Shreveport and West Monroe in the playoffs.

I don't even know what this means either.

Barbe could be whatever you want them to be. It's your internet!

Facts are Barbe was 5-5 and barely qualified for the Louisiana 5A public playoffs.
They have pulled off 2 shockers. A #26 Seed has never won a state championship in Louisiana. I'm pulling for the Barbe Buccaneers.

Per @Steeler01
(9-2) Evangel Christian could be 11-0.

They lost to Monroe Neville 33-32. Monroe Neville blocked a chip shot field goal with 11 seconds left for the win Week 1..

They lost to #1 2A Lafayette Christian Academy 24-22.

(11-0) Edna Karr vs (9-2) Evangel Christian in NOLA
Edna Karr ranked #1 in Louisiana.
Evangel Christian ranked #11 in Louisiana.

Evangel Christian has some really nice looking athletes including 4* QB Peyton "Pop" Houston who is committed to LSU in the 2027 class. Houston is ranked the #7 QB nationally.

Can't remember these two ever playing.

That all said.
Prediction: Edna Karr by 5 or 6 TDs .🤠 Ha!

my 2 cents, Barbe beating Northwood was definitely not a shocker... they are basically a 4A school playing in the 5A playoffs.  Barbe beating WM was definitely a little shocking but there were several factors and we still almost pulled it out.  Think WM definitely got caught looking ahead to a possible rematch with Neville and didn't take the #26 seed seriously enough.  Their RB Griffin is special, kinda a Darren Sproles like RB, short and you lose him in traffic cause they use a lot of motion and misdirection and he finds the hole very well.  Very hard to tackle due to his stature and once he has a step he's gone with his speed.  Barbe also gained a transfer mid season in Hamilton Christian's (10-0) best wide receiver Chris Rideau.  They run the ball then catch you napping and hit Rideau.  All that being said, we turned the ball over on our 1st 2 possessions and Barbe quickly scored to take a 21-0 lead.  We also lost our power back Ponti (possible broken leg) and still managed to hang the rest of the way.  If Neville is healthy and plays a clean game they should have no trouble with Barbe

It's been almost a decade since Barbe won 2 playoff games.
I'm pulling for Barbe to win the 5A Public State Championship. That would be a hell of a story.

That RB for Barbe Jordin Griffin is a hell of an athlete. I watched some of his baseball highlights last night and LSU is getting a great one. Griffin may have the quickest bat I've ever seen on a high schooler.

I wonder if Lane Kiffin will ask him to come out for football??? 🤠

I think the team in D1NS to keep an eye on is Ouachita, they are sneaky good.  Their only losses all came in District 2-5A play and they could have won all of those games...

The real question is, could any of them beat Bixby?

I've heard Neville could have 4 losses just like we've heard you say the same thing about 2003 ECA thousands of times.

Once we flip the script,  you don't know what anyone is talking about.  To funny

I doubt it
I read Bixby beat Jenks this year.

No one in the nation wants any of that Bixby smoke!
