Colquitt hosts the Benedictine Cadets Friday night in the Hawg Pen.  Benedictine has 12 players with at least one D1 offer. This could be another game reminiscent of the South Panola game in 2010. A bunch of poor, tiny, little undersized Hawgs against the MONSTERS of the Savannah marshes.

OH WOE IS US !!!!!

Colquitt gives the home crowd something to cheer about

31-14 in favor of the Hawg Express

I think the most impressive part was....Jae Lamar went down during the very first series after a 40 yard run...and never returned.  We won without him.  That in itself is extremely hard to believe.

The second most impressive part is the new Colquitt kicker...Josh Scroggins....has NEVER played a down of football before tonight.  He is a soccer player and a Georgia State Tennis Champion.  He has been working with the Fitzgerald family for a while.  The kid is icewater.

Finally, this was a football game.  Benedictine is no slouch.  The game was a heavyweight match with both teams going toe to toe.  With 1 second on the board...Scroggins kicked a 37 yarder for the Colquitt win.

There was a winner...but there was not a loser.  Benedictine did not quit...............

Good win CC, Benedictine had quite a lot of size. Both teams battled well

Jae has verballed to Georgia.  I'm not sure exactly how bad the thigh bruise is...but I'm hearing he'll be used sporadically in our non-region games and hopefully he'll be 100% by Lowndes.

We'll need him........

I have heard rumblings that Lowndes has already pre-ordered their region championship banner. So if he returns, it will just be another guy that gets to say he lost to Lowndes
