Beating previously undefeated and state ranked Ouachita Parish. People thought after being the consensus number 2 team in Louisana and losing by 3 or 4 touchdowns to a cow kicking team from the middle of nowhere Texas from the 5th biggest class, that they would fold it up.

But they shook the shit off and got a good statement win for Ruston. Let everyone in Lousiana know why they are still the consensus number 2 team in the state.

I don't even need to know who they played.  They played a Louisiana team right?

It was that Lousyana powerhouse Ouachita. Ouachita is better than any team that ever existed in California....

Of course. Ouachita Parish was 5-0 and gearing up for a deep playoff run in one of those 8 participation playoff paths. Lol. The non select group 3 division 2. Whatever you call it in that dump.

I was just giving Ruston a shoutout because some teams would pack it in after getting their teeth kicked in by some cow poke school in the middle of nowhere 5th biggest class Texas. But not Ruston. They took care of business

Ouachita Parish would be 69th in Cali. Down where Los Angeles Cathedral was before they spiraled down with another loss. The same Cathedral team that was one of the headline OOS games for Louisana based on the threads posted by Red Flag

I'll just say this, DLS is extremely lucky they didn't play Ouachita during their streak. It would've ended much earlier than it did. Ruston should be commended for such a great win over a national powerhouse.

It wouldn't even have been labeled at streak. It would have just been a straight up loss!

#2 Ruston losing to Stephenville, TX is equivalent to #2 at the time Mission Viejo losing to McCallie High School, TN......

I watched both games and both Ruston and Mission Viejo looked like s***.

Stephenville would probably beat McCallie pretty badly. though ... some 2-loss team called Ainsworth beat McCallie this year .

There's  a good chance Stephenville wins a state championship and ends up ranked in the Top 10 in Texas this year. Stephenville's currently #16 in Texas.

Ruston? I don't know. I thought last year's Ruston team would win the 5A State Championship, but they ended up losing 3 games and getting running clocked in the State Championship game 40-0 to Baton Rouge Central.

There's just too many good and very athletic teams here.

Carry on kids!

Stephenville would get wrecked by Mission Viejo.

They're not gonna finish top 10 in any rankings done by humans in Texas.  The computer can't rank them correctly since there's no connectivity with 6A teams in Texas.

Ruston played the worst Longview team in who knows how long, and won by 3

You are a clown just desperately throwing stuff out there.
Humans have ranked Stephenville,Texas Nationally in their Top 25 several times.....and if Stephenville can beat Celina in the playoffs this year they may do it again.

Just stop with desperate madness.

Anyone who knows anything about Texas football knows that the top class rules the roost and 2 classes down would get obliterated.

I remember when 5A was the largest class and there were countless instances where 4A champs were getting thrown around by 5-5 and 6-4 teams from 5A.

@Steeler01  you remember that? It would be like 15-1 Lake Travis back in 4A losing to 5-5 Westlake. Lol.

I remember when the Texas board was up it was actually a common thing to see powerhouses from one class losing to average teams from the class above it.

Stephenville is the old Texas 3A. The salty class. Lol. The best team in 3A wouldn't be within 3 score of the top 25 5A squads

What dumbass human has ranked Stephenville top 25 in modern times?

Since when is Celina some national win?

I'm the one that used to bring it up.

Kilgore
Liberty Hill
Carthage

All were getting beaten by good to mid tier teams in the higher divisions. Imagine SLC vs Stephenville. Bloodbath
