Why?  We won 50-3 over our toughest region opponent.

Does Green Apple Massey really have Bixby, OK #1?

Bryant, AR destroyed Newton, GA (your toughest region opponent) too, Fred.
Newton is now 3-3.

Grayson's 3 best wins this year are looking a little suspicious..

1-Rabun Gap has lost 3 games now including giving up 55 points to Providence Day NC,. Grayson struggled with Rabun Gap.

2-Thompson, AL just lost to Clay-Chalkville...... Grayson struggled with Thompson.

3-Mallard Creek, NC was blown out by West Charlotte this past weekend....... Grayson blew up Mallard Creek.too, but you see the point.

Not to worry though.
All Grayson has to do is keep winning and they could possibly end up in the Top 3 this year.

This weekend.

New Orleans battle > Edna Karr plays their toughest Louisiana team to date (4-0) St Aug......St Aug is currently #5 in Louisiana.

Chicago battle> Mount Carmel plays their toughest Illinois team to date (5-0) Brother Rice...... Brother Rice is currently #4 In Illinois.

If those 2 teams are not impressive they will drop accordingly as well.

Yes. It almost seems like On3/Rivals are deliberately manipulating the Massey ratings in order to get new controversial #1 teams in order to boost engagement on their SM posts (which appears to be working fairly well for them - even if the engagement is overwhelmingly negative). Previously they had Grayson at #1 and now it's Bixby. Something I noticed last week is that there was a mismatch on both the On3/Rivals and Massey websites of the ratings tables (which had SJB at #1) and the editorial article that was published on On3/Rivals (which had Grayson #1) and they finally "updated" (or backrolled) the ratings tables to align with the published article on Tuesday. To me that seems awfully suspicious.

Another possibility is that Massey may also be getting pressure from Rivals to publish ratings earlier in the week (before all of the score data can be collected, verified, entered and then give the algorithm sufficient time to run and "settle"). Most of the national rankings providers publish their rankings by Monday and there is likely some pressure to "not be the last" to publish rankings.  One thing I've learned over the years of tracking the weekly Massey ratings is that it takes time to enter all of the score data and feed it into the ratings algorithm and then it takes additional time for the ratings algorithm to run and then "settle". This is true for CalPreps/HSRatings as well and why I won't record the CalPreps and Massey data until Tuesday morning at the earliest. I've also spoken with people who have worked at CalPreps and they have confirmed this general weekly timeline for those ratings.

Either way, it's not a good look (at least to those crazy people like me who pay close attention to this stuff).

I see you're still too scared to do a larger poll. Grow some balls, swamp turd.

To be recognized as a Top 15 team In the Redzone Red Hot Top 15 has much more meaning  than your weekly Hillbilly 100 where teams mysteriously appear and then mysteriously disappear just that quick for absolutely no reason other than as you put it....."there are 15,000 high schools"...

Did you see my answer to, Fred?......in this thread.
That's how to answer a simple poll question.

Hillbilly, what's the point of even having a Top 25 if you can't explain/sell to people why you have teams in it. Polls are all about making sales.

You have Bixby at #24.
You have yet to explain why you have had Bixby in your Top 25 for the last decade. lmao!
 😭
.
Here's a clue. Bixby just doesn't look like the other teams. Nobody cares if they can beat Jenks.

New Redzone Red Hot National Top 15 feature:
"did you know?"
A feature that throws some irrelevant randomness out there from time to time.

Did you know Archbishop Moeller, OH last won a state football championship in 2013?

Did you know Brownsburg High School in Indiana has a student enrollment of almost 3,500 students?

Your answer displayed the lack of knowledge you have. Nacoochie is a solid team who always plays teams tough. Providence Day is their league rival and are a good team.
Grayson beat the top team in AL without their star QB. Blowing out Newton was very impressive. Newton hung with Douglas Co and lost a top 25 team in Bryant. You would know that if you did some more research beyond a measly top 15.

Did you know Allen High School in Texas was established in 1910.
Allen won their very first state football championship in 2008 which is the first year they made the USA Today Poll.
The USA Today high school football poll has been out since 1982.
