These rankings are preliminary until HSRatings (formerly CalPreps) and Massey release their final preseason rankings this Thursday.

For each ranking:

1st place = 25 points
2nd place = 24 points
...
25th place = 1 point

Then add up all the points across all the rankings. If a team has 1st place in all 9 rankings, they will have (25 x 9) 225 points. If a team has a single 25th place ranking they will have 1 point.

Just for the record..
In the world of Comp Polls.
TheCompPoll is probably the truest. There are probably 3 or 4 different Comp Polls floating around the WWW.
I'm still not a big fan of the green apple polls, but I guess they're out there and have to be included.

Must take a lot of time putting it together.

Anyways, carry on.

Appreciate it. I actually have written a bunch of scripts that do most of the heavy lifting. It usually only takes like 10-15 minutes per week to generate the weekly composite and most of that time is spent auditing the data my scripts collect. Actually, if everything went smoothly and I decided not to audit the data and ESPN started publishing a text version of their poll, I could probably do it in like 1 or 2 minutes, lol.
