It's all about beating the very important teams on any level.
In high school winning a couple of national tournaments normally bodes very well.

Not the same. LSU had to go through an actual national playoff bracket for a national championship. Catholic went thru a state bracket and was awarded a mythical title based on losing to the 144th ranked FL team. Lol. Not the same.

Catholic (Baton Rouge) won the 2024 MNC at MaxPreps in 2024.
Barbe has 4 MNCs, last one in 2023.

SJB is loaded, especially with pitching.... As far as the rankings go I would say they are probably living off of their upset win over last years #1 team Corona and their playoff run...

We will find out though as SJB plays in the North Carolina Tournament and The Boras Classic this year....

BC wins it 56-52! First repeat basketball title in school history and 7th overall. The Crusaders will also surely be ranked #1 in NJ basketball for the first time in program history. They finish the season with a program best 29-3 mark.
