That is crazy bizarre

Bryant, AR beat Top 20 Newton, GA last year 31-14..... it was 31-7 at halftime.

The Myth National Champion Buford beat Newton in the 3rd round of the Georgia playoffs by the exact same score 31-14.

Bryant vs Buford probably would have been a decent game last year.

Anyways good for Alexandria scheduling this game. Probably going to take the X.

I'd be happy if Bixby played Newton, GA.......

In what's been called the biggest regular season basketball game in state history (two national top ten teams playing) national #4 Sunnyslope comes back to down national #6 Millennium:

High School Football Discussion / Shot Clocks in HS Bball

In May NJ will vote on whether to institute a 35 sec one for 2027-28. I think that all states should have one. I for one am tired of seeing teams pass the ball around during the 4th and holding the ball for the final minute of the game before taking the last shot. And a team that's behind won't have to start fouling so soon.

The distance between Bixby, OK and Little Rock, AR is 272 miles.
That's pretty crazy.
No one can tell me people don't call Bixby for a game. They just don't really want anything to do with it at this point.
I don't get it either. Bixby is in a wealthy suburb with top notch facilities. It's not like they don't have the money. When Union and Jenks ruled the Oklahoma landscape they would take on OOS powers from time to time.

Quote from: TheOC89 on Jan 20, 2026, 07:01 AMMiami had a really good defense that could play with Anyone.... Their issue was Beck, he is inconsistent which is why GA ran him out of town.... It's fitting that he threw the game clinching pick....

Indiana was a Great team, very impressive run by them!....
I agree.  I was just yanking his chain.  Miami surprised me.  I expected Indiana to roll.

Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza is no Joe Burrow, but the TD run was pretty damn impressive.

He took a shot too!
