Crazy. I didn't even know this game was happening until Brandon was up 40-17 in the 4th with all their backups in.

Tremendous win for Brandon. They came in massive underdogs. Undefeated West Monroe was averaging 47 points per game and needed a late garbage time TD to get to half that against Brandon.

And what's more surprising is Brandon already had a drilling they took earlier in the year by 24 points.

Did you guys hear about this game at all in the offseason or regular season? I honestly completely forgot about it. Which is wild given that it's a top 4 OOS game in the state of Louisiana.

I heard all about TAPPS St John's, TCAL Legacy, winless Arkansas teams, West Point and Louisville, but I didn't hear a peep about Brandon.

Shoutout to Red Flag for knowing Brandon was gonna put the screws to Louisiana's #8 ranked team and current #2 team in their playoff bracket behind top state ranked Ruston.

West Monroe got manhandled, admittedly, but it's not like Brandon was a team of scrubs.  They lost the opening game to 4-0 Mississippi # 1 Tupelo.  Brandon's 3 star QB is committed to play for Big 10 University of Illinois.  West Monroe's QB has no stars and is committed to play at Arkansas-Monticello.  Brandon's 4 star Sr RB will suit up for Michigan next year.  The other 3 star RB committed to Arkansas State. Their other 4 star players are committed to Colorado and the WR (2028) already has offers from Alabama, Ole Miss and LSU.  That's basically just the skill guys, they have 3 star OL and LB's as well. Find me any players on WM's roster with those kind of credentials

Top Mississippi teams can hang with alot of teams outside of the recruited up private transfer factories.
