That's insanity.

Florida panhandle 61-31 vs Louisiana
Florida panhandle 112-57 vs Mississippi

173-88 all time against both states combined.

Red Flag loves little tidbits and nuggets like this. Glad I could add some real football facts to a real football thread

🏈 👊

I think it's been the consensus for a pretty long time that the most memorable game between the panhandle of Florida locking horns with Mississippi was when 2nd round loser Pine Forest beat 14-1 Starkville 63-24 to hand them their only loss on the year.

It was a wild night in Pensacola!!!

Quote from: Redzone on Aug 28, 2026, 08:37 AMMaybe not a national game, but should be a good game just the same.

West Point won last year's war 9-7.

West Point has the most state championships in Mississippi with 13 followed by Louisville who has won 12.

Just one of the games I have on my radar for tonight...... obvious reasons.

John Curtis will play Louisville.
Ruston will play West Point.

Anyways, like I said this is not a national game ( I guess), but should be a good football game.

Definitely on my radar tonight along with 15 or 20 other games.

Some All-Star games, some regular football games, and etc.
You understand.

Hey red flag check this out. I know this thread is about the 17th ranked Mississippi team, but this is pretty cool.

The 330th ranked Florida team just knocked off the 11th ranked team in all of Alabama.

Tremendous win for 4A Louisville.
5A West Point was Preseason #6 in Mississippi.

Think about this.

Last year the 17th ranked Mississippi team was 590th in the country

The 11th ranked Alabama team was 363rd in the nation.

And this Janky Red Flag cock sucker has been talking about the 17th ranked Mississippi team all damn summer. Just because they are top Losiianaa opponent for John Curtis.

😭😭😭

The 330th ranked team in Florida last night chopped down the 11th ranked Alabama team. Biggest upset of the year so far.

Let that sink in. Red Flag has been pumping and pimping Mississippi number 17, and they won't even be nowhere near as good as a team that the 330th freaking team in Florida beat!
