We also know Servite had NO answer for the Cathedral dynamic duo .

Like I said.
QB Jefferson put on show
WR Hale put on a show.

When was the last time Servite had any answer for Corona? Seems to be less of "the Cathedral kids are studs" and more "it's a Corona Centennial offense". I actually give Servite some credit for "holding" Centennial to a point figure that they were held to just four times last year.

I think the Cathedral kids are studs the WR has a much better ceiling for the future, but you're correct. Any QB playing for Centennial last night lights up Servite. Centennial had 13 penalties as well. This could've been 50 to whatever.

My point was last year's Cathedral team doesn't hyper-improve after the fact because two kids transferred to a program that always puts up big offensive numbers and proceeded to put up big offensive numbers. I don't think a single person was concerned about Corona's ability to put up points in the preseason.

.500 teams are .500 teams for a reason, and sometimes that reason is they don't have the ability to run schemes that maximize their best talent.

.

If that were the case QB Jefferson and WR Hale would still be at Cathedral.

And all I said was Cathedral had more than a handful of really good players, which was a fact.

Centennial brought the Cathedral boys in for just one reason!

Centennial didn't bring in nobody. Those kids transferred in to play with a better team.

Wonder how many points Centennial scores on Servite playing their backup QB, QB3?  from last year?
Did they even have a QB3 last year?

Centennial went out and got exactly who they needed to compete. A big time QB and big time WR.

They score 42 like they have in all 3 games.

The next time Centennial struggles to score against a non- elite defense will be the first time in 27 years.

Just name the Centennial QB who was going to light up Servite this year had they not got the Cathedral QB...... you said anyone could do it.

That's right, exactly what I thought.

Cya around!

The next man up.  Centennial has played with back up QBs before and have done just fine.

We have 27 years of data and you have your opinion.

Imagine how barren of a wasteland Lousiana football has to be when you have Red Flag trying to squeeze any relevance from the state's number 3 team playing the 109th ranked 6 loss California team that he has to highlight some players that played in that game as a reason why their new team (checks notes) looks exactly like they have for the last quarter century.

That's some weird shit! That's not normal.

Anyone going to either the Lutheran-Central or Santa Margarita-Jones game tonight?  I'm leaning towards heading to OCC.

Edit:  NFHS Network somehow made their site worse this year.  Trying to jump ahead of a pregame show, the feed gets confused and resets itself to the beginning.

This should be a competitive game. The Jones/SM game will get ugly. Might be close for a half. Jones graduated their whole team and barely got any replacements of note in the offseason. Plus the coach likes to play superior teams and take an ass whooping. This will be no different.

I'm thinking 49-10
