What's crazy is remember when I said just the panhandle of Florida is 61-31 against the entire state of Louisiana the last 67 years?

I just checked and added the non-panhandle games against Lousiana and the non-panhandle is 16-9 in the same timeframe.

So the last 67 years the entire state of Florida is 77-40 against the entire state of Louisiana. Lol.

And yes that includes all the 0-3 win teams pussy Curtis played.

77-40. Gotta sting

Quote from: Redzone on Feb 28, 2026, 04:21 AMNO team from Orlando, Jacksonville, Sarasota, Tampa and etc should ever play a Trinity League, California team.

That's silly. There are many seasons in which a team or two from those areas are good enough to play with most of the Trinity League. When just two schools monoploize all of the talent, those two schools are likely beyond the reach of most any other team. But then that leaves the rest of the league to not be very good. If there aren't two teams with such a monopoly, then that means the talent is more spread out and none of the teams are all the way out of reach.

Armwood won on the road at Bishop Gorman. Lakeland had DLS- who was equal to or better than a couple of Trinity teams- on the ropes and probably should've won on the road (after winning at CA Open Bowl champ DLS in 2009). If any school in Jacksonville or Orlando came to have a stranglehold on area talent, they'd be able to hang with much of the Trinity League. Edgewater hammered Don Bosco a few years back (Bosco could be seen as on par with some of the Trinity League).

Quote from: Belly Bob on Mar 02, 2026, 06:39 AMHe did the same thing with last year's DLS-Lakeland game: Lakeland was way down on talent, DLS would blow them out, anyone who would say otherwise is an idiot or a troll, etc. Meanwhile, the game was about as close as a HS football game could be.
Yep. He also said St. Joe's Philly would beat them so easily it would be embarrassing, meanwhile Lakeland had a lead in each of the first three quarters of the game. Silly guy!

Quote from: Redzone on Mar 02, 2026, 10:14 AMIn the history of OOS football Florida has never ever been favored in one single game.
It's called paranoia.

That's a fact.

You think Dematha was favored at STA in 2018? STA running-clocked them en route to a runner-up season.

...after Lakeland quite literally handed them three touchdowns. And that was also the best SJP team they've ever had. Again, your words before the game were something very close to "It'll be such an emnbarrassing blowout you'll know before halftime the game should've never been scheduled". You were completely wrong, but have perhaps never watched the game.

Probably the closest 3 touchdown game in history. Lol. The lion doesn't always attack and kill the lamb as soon as he enters the cage. He might play around with it. Let it hop around while it licks its chops. Knows it can devour it anytime but lets it marinate for a little bit. Let the nervousness and sweat season it. Lol.

Then just go over at the end and take a big bite to end its misery.

That was the SJP/Lakeland game

You never watched the game. That's OK, because it has no bearing on the prospects of 2026 teams.

A Lakeland team that is noticeably better than they were in 2025 is going to be a problem for anyone. Particularly if they have play at Bryant Stadium. The 2023 team that lost to SJP was not better *offensively* than the 2026 team will be. Defensively, the 2023 team didn't have a D-line. They had linebackers playing DL. This year's DL has 4-5 Power 4 players on the front. Santana Harvey, Drew Sapp, Ky-Mani Pierre from Miami Killian, Kash Johnson (2029 major recruit) and a DT from an hour or so away.  The secondary returns intact and has a minimum of 4 major recruits. The defense has a chance to be as good or better than the 2022 defense. No one is going to walk into Bryant Stadium and have an easy time on offense. The offense has several playmakers; that side of the ball boils down to upgrading the OL.

What is the ranking or ballpark ranking of the OOS team? I will let you know: if the team is national top 50, then it's a loss. Top 75-100 close loss, top 101-200 probable win. 201-16,000 expected win

I don't know who the team is, but probably top 50. I'm sort of hoping it's the team from California that is mentioned in the title of this thread, but I don't know.

You're just talking out your ass here  ;D  De La Salle finished in the top 30, and Lakeland almost beat them on the road. Lake Mary was top 100, and Lakeland beat them 32-13. Edgewater was better than Lake Mary, and Lakeland beat them on the road by two TDs. Miami Central was top 30 caliber in 2024 and Lakeland beat them on the road. And all of those games were with weaker Lakeland teams than what they'll have this year. So, your predictions are disproven.

Not sure if an OOS game is still on or not, but Lakeland will host American Heritage on Sept. 18. Also playing West Broward for KOC.

Pipe down, swamp turd. We all know you have your knee pads on standby when it comes to Nolebull. FL has bent over Lousyana all time. Hell, just the lousy panhandle has doubled you up overall. That's patheric!!
