American Heritage Plantation, FL and their  35+ D1s and their back up QB/WR bullied that little playoff bracket.

It would be the equivalent of St John Bosco, CA dropping down to play in the CIF D2 or D3 playoffs. 😭🤣😭

Gaybob813> shouldn't you be looking for new telephone numbers in the men's room at the Appalachian Stop and Go?

But based on the rankings, two of their playoff opponents would've been the number two and number three team in all of Louisiana. How garbage is Louisiana? That state never has highly ranked teams.

I remember one year the best 2 teams were in the finals and it was between a team not ranked in the national top 100 against a team not in the national 200. And this was the headline game between the two top teams in the state. I mean the garbage coming out of Louisiana stinks to high heaven!

And what makes it even worse is there an eight playoff brackets! EIGHT!!! in a garbage state with no ranked teams. LMAO!

Holy smokes dude. Lousiana has 8 playoff brackets for 250 total teams in the state. If that wasn't worse enough, there is only 1 team annually that is even mentioned for national top 100 status.

So you basically got 8 playoff brackets with practically every teams making it, running around like a bunch of inbreds to see who can be the tallest midget. LMAO!!

The football is so bad and the playoffs are so watered down that it looks like football at the special Olympics.

Edna Karr and Baton Rouge Central breezed though their participation brackets without having to play ONE ranked team!!!! How sad is that?

AHP had to beat the 40th team in the country and 54th team in the country to win the title last year.

Edna Karr had to beat the 350th team and 625th team. LMAO!!

Says all you need to know

And I'm not just cherry picking their 2 worst playoff opponent. These were the two BEST teams they played.

Their championship opponent wasn't even top 300 in the country:

That's inbred football!!

But on a serious note, if a team like Stephenville can beat your number 2 team in your state with it being 28-6 at the end, then how can you rank any teams from that state?

When Mississippi not top 20 can put a running clock on your 9th team, how can you have anyone ranked?

It doesn't make any sense. The math ain't mathin'

It's actually kind of exhausting typing all the embarrassments and bloopers that is Louisiana football.

I feel like when I am typing, it's never gonna end. I can just keep going on and on and on. Sometimes I just stop because I'm out of breath. LMAO!

There is literally a never-ending amount of information you can post making fun of Louisiana

It would appear I've crushed Gaybob813's feelings again.

Quick, someone say something about Florida and watch Gaybob813 go complete "Gay Junkie on Springer". 😭

1-St John Bosco, CA
2-Sierra Canyon, CA
3-St Frances, MD
4- Mater Dei, CA
5- Bishop Gorman, NV
6-Buford, GA
7-Edna Karr, NOLA
8-Mount Carmel, IL
9-Southlake Carroll, TX
10-Grayson, GA
11-St Thomas Aquinas, FL
12-Santa Margarita, CA
13-Allen, TX
14-Brownsburg, IN
15-Basha, AZ

Note: bumped DeMatha and rewarded Santa Margarita DeMatha's spot in this week's Red Hot 15 at #12.

I don't like DeMatha anymore.

No other changes.
It's really hard to drop a team that has 2 Top 15 wins so I left Mater Dei #4............. I'm putting Mater Dei on notice though even if they do have 38 D1s.

#8 Mount Carmel will get a little test this weekend when they play #3 7A Fenwick.

Illinois has 8 classes. Mount Carmel is 8A.
East St Louis plays in class 6A.

I still cannot figure the logic of some people having East St Louis ranked ahead of Mount Carmel and I'm a pretty bright guy. It absolutely does not make any sense whatsoever.

Mount Carmel is not real shiny, but man they got some good players, they are disciplined and they are coached very well.

I could make my case, but I don't think anybody really cares.

Did you know St Thomas Aquinas, FL is going for their 7th straight State Championship.

They could win a State Championship with Atticus Finch at QB.

Bishop Gorman and St Thomas Aquinas will soon have 100 State Championships combined unless the US Congress gets involved. 😮🤣

What doesn't make sense is that you think you're a bright guy.

You're right about one thing....nobody cares about the crap you spew out every day.

Gainesville thumping Milton took some of shine off of Buford beating Milton, but Buford still beat Milton
Nothing's really going to change very much in my poll until the Georgia Playoffs or Grayson and Buford get upset.

That said.
This poll has Grayson #4 in 6A and truthfully I can't overlook some of these other Georgia teams. There's data saying I could be totally wrong having Buford and Grayson in my Top 10.
The Georgia 6A playoffs will probably be the best playoffs in the nation this year and the puzzle will be solved soon.

You methodology is ... flawed.  Don't you find it interesting that SI, the ranking you linked, has Grayson as #4 in the nation yet has Grayson as #4 in the state.  :o  None of the teams ranked above us in the state are even in the national top 10 except Buford and they are behind us.  :o  That's a pretty significant contradiction that you seem to have bought into whole hog.

The composite rankings by the people in state that should know, all have Grayson #1.  Since I doubt you know it, the Maxwell ranking is computer based while the rest are subjective human rankings.

To reiterate, I don't particularly care where *you* have us ranked other than to get a chuckle out of what you post.  But if you want to be taken seriously, you need to do a deeper dive into things like this.

Quote from: Redzone on Oct 15, 2025, 05:17 AMRight now Grayson can just bully people and win by 50 or 60 points every weekend, but I wonder if their backup QB can lead them to a state championship?...

You wonder because you haven't seen him play.  I have.  He is possibly a half-step slower on his runs and his isn't quite as big which also can affect his run game, but other than that, I have every confidence he can bring home the ship.

The first week he started, he wasn't quite as sharp but then he had one day to prepare and the coaches had already game planned with Travis starting.  The next week, it was very obvious he was on his game and the coaches had game planned to his strengths.  I think that passing out to 25-30 yards, he is as accurate as Travis was.  Past thirty, he may not be quite as strong, but he is improving each week.  For these that don't know, Travis was 4* rated and was the #1 QB in the state.

You have the same problem a lot of the ranking services have.  All you see is a score, possibly a box score, and you judge based on that alone.  The eyeball test is significantly stronger and Deuce definitely passes the eyeball test.

Just trying to help him understand GA football better.  I get a chuckle out of most of his posts much in the same way I look at some of the other Top ### postings by others.  The people that get paid to do this as their job have a hard time getting it right.  I don't really expect much out of amateurs to do better.  I would never attempt to rank GA much less nationally.  Heck, I do well to rank our region!  I know that I don't know.

Did you know from 2004-2016 Evangel Christian won 6 Lousiana state championships and lost a staggering 11 out of state games combined in those championship years? Out of 12 games. And the 1 they did win was a 4 quarter one score war against a Texas nobody? The 11 losses were all blowouts as well. Running clocks in some.

Did you know? If not, now you know
