Bixby has consistently put up big numbers on offense against Oklahoma competition for several years. That region- North Texas, Oklahoma even Arkansas- has had lots of prolific offenses for a while. And, it's a good bet the defenses are not the most imposing, likely due to a relative dearth of elite* athletes.

But, the good old YouTube algorithm has me going down a new rabbit hole. Watching Bixby games, at least the offense, is a refreshingly unique experience. I suppose if you're averse to motion and shifts, it may be your ultimate nightmare. But, I think it is quite possible we will see this stuff breaking through to the upper levels to whatever extent it hasn't already (I have to revisit Kansas' offense in recent years and some of what Sark and Texas have used a little). It might be the best scheme, with perhaps the best execution at the HS level by Bixby, in all of football. Even if you're skeptical about their ability to hang with the top teams in the country, you'll surely concede what they do on offense is a unique thing of beauty.

I wasn't really speculating as to how the team would fare against elite competition. I just think the way they run the offense is unique and noteworthy.
