came to Baton Rouge with some family to look at high schools and the City a few days back and most have him enrolling at U-High which is on the main campus of LSU....... Catholic (Baton Rouge) is obviously the other option.

U-High is one of our D2 Select powers and are currently in the semi-finals where they will play St Charles Catholic. That should be a good game.

Anyways,
Knox Kiffin, a sophomore....is a 6-2 173 lb QB in the 2028 Class
He currently has 8 offers to date with the best one being SMU.
He may develop into one of the better QBs in the 2028 Class

I think he's said before that he doesn't want to play for his dad.

LA is seriously burining money just with paying old fired coaches from LSU.  They were still paying out ED Ogregon no I dont care how I spelled his name, who was fired in 2021.  Now they are on the hook for Kelly at a total of 54 million. LOL.  And they are paying Kiffin 13 mill a year not including bonus?  LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

It's not as bad as it sounds.
Coach O gets his final LSU check December 15th of $420,000..... that's done!

Just curious do you know how much money LSU makes every year in profit?

That said. Brian Kelly was indeed an expensive clunker
Best to pay the penalty and move on.

I hadn't heard that, but that might change once Knox gets a taste of Louisiana and Tiger Stadium.......

Yeah, I just read this Post on the LSU forum. 👇
BUT, I don't think I've ever seen so many "sources" in my life when it comes to the Kiffin's...... everyone claims to know something and wants to be right.
U-High would be a great spot for Knox though. The school is right there on the LSU campus.
Anyways,

"Knox Kiffin enrolling at U-High
Posted by DallasTiger2411/30/25 at 6:55 pm
I've received word from multiple higher-ups at U-High that the Kiffin family called the school on the way to Baton Rouge today to enroll Knox Kiffin at U-High for the Spring Semester. They believe this helps Knox in the best way to succeed in the future.

When I asked if they considered any other schools only 2 other schools were mentioned. Those being Catholic High and Episcopal, but the Kiffin family believes Knox will fit in seamlessly at the Lab School.

This comes months after Knox said he does not want to play for his dad, but also saying that LSU was in his top 3 of places he would want to play in the future."

I get they make money at LSU, or really any power football college, actually never mind. What I was going to say is probably too much in the ploitical arena than sports even though it is about sports and how money is spent. I digress.........

I don't know, but would be interested.  How much, and how does it compare to other schools?

To my understanding.
Brian Kelly's $54 million buyout will be paid over a 6-year period. Last payment in 2031.
If Brian Kelly gets another job the amount of his salary will be deducted from the LSU buyout money. If Brian Kelly does not actively seek employment then it's probably headed to court because that was part of the buyout agreement.
Right now it doesn't seem like Brian Kelly is a hot name.

Anyways

"LSU football generated a $52.6 million profit for the 2024 fiscal year, with revenues of $107.9 million and expenses of $55.4 million. The profit was driven by revenue from ticket sales ($40.8 million), contributions ($27.6 million), and media rights ($15.3 million).
