There's a lot in that format I don't agree with, but I certainly concur with eliminating CC games. The more playoff teams there are the less they mean.  We're not in the BCS Days anymore, when they were sometimes unofficial semi's. That first weekend in December is probably better off as a first week of playoffs.

Why even have conferences???

Divide everything up into 4 regions.

Nothing will ever be good enough for College Football.
