Going to get to see all 3 of those guys Saturday in huge games.
Let's get it on LSU;

Arch Manning of Texas is the early favorite for the 2025 Heisman Trophy, with odds around +600 to +700, followed by Garrett Nussmeier (LSU) and Cade Klubnik (Clemson) at roughly +700 to +900 odds. Other contenders include Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers. Odds will fluctuate as the season progresses, so checking multiple sportsbooks like FanDuel or BetMGM is recommended for the most up-to-date lines.

Ohio State was thoroughly dominated, but get the win.

Pretty boring game actually until the end when Texas started running some actual pass routes.

This game only helps Texas really.

Big Ten power? C'mon man, you really just typed that out and said, "yeah that sounds right?"😂

The Northwestern football juggernaut has been playing football since 1852 (143 seasons). 8 conference titles in that span (about 1 every 17+ years). Overall record of 566–702–44 (.448). I guess we differ on definition of "power".

Edna Karr (NOLA) RB Jaylin Lucas had a nice game for Florida State yesterday. .... almost 100 yds total offense. He transferred to the Seminoles this year from Indiana.

Edna Karr (NOLA) WR Aaron Anderson had a huge game vs Clemson last night.......100 yards receiving.

Note: Edna Karr has 3 WRs at LSU. All 3 are ballers and could see the field at the same time at some point which would be pretty cool if it works out, one is just a true freshman.

I just can't believe they put Texas at preseason #1 and Arch Manning as the Heisman favorite. Texas is an iffy top 10 and Manning isn't even a top 10 QB (not very accurate, can't see the whole field and throws sidearm way too much). This is season 3 for Manning in this system and you can tell they don't trust his decision making abilities. Manning might become a HOF QB but he definitely hasn't lived up to the hype so far (admittedly no one could live up to that hype but at least show me something)

Is Bryce Young the biggest bust in NFL history?
At halftime > Young has 0 TDs, 1 INT, and a Fumble that was scooped up for a TD.

Panthers getting pounded yet again!

Young is not even tradable.

So since you can't refute anything being said about Arch you bag on a Heisman winning QB to make yourself feel better. By his 3rd year in College he won a Heisman by Mannings 3rd year (the presumptive Heisman favorite on the #1 team) lost it after 2 games (really 1 1/2 but who's counting). Did any of the Texas fans ever think that they would say they won some games in spite of Manning instead of because.🤔🤔🤔

You didn't post his final stats lol.  35 for 55 328 yards 3 tds 1 INT

Young has been awful in the NFL,  but he's a better QB than Arch. Arch is awful in college, lol at thinking he's gonna start in the NFL

Clemson has won 6 of the last 8 with 2 blowouts (2019/2020), but six have been close games. Including Syracuse's upset of Clemson in 2017 when they were national runner ups. So, yes, they've been a tough out for Clemson.

USC plays their very first ranked opponent today.... Illinois, and Illinois gave up 61 points to Indiana last week in that blowout of a game

There really must be a shortage of quality college football teams to have Illinois ranked in a poll.

Genius coaching decision to throw a 20 yard TD pass with 2 minutes still left in the game and give your opponent you have been unable to stop the entire game a full 2 minutes to win with a FG.

If you look back at Mannings career since a HS freshman you'll find that he's never won a big game against good competition. No state championships in Louisianas lower divisions (never even made the championship game). Couldn't beat out the incumbent quarterback his Freshman (I know he redshirted and now we know why) or Sophomore year at Texas and then lost to the only teams with a pulse in college. These are facts not my opinion. He could very well be a HOF NFL QB in the future just hasn't proven a damn thing yet except that he has a famous last name that he's leveraged for a shitload of cash, I guess that's one win for Arch🤪😂

He played the worst garbage in high school history outside of Berkeley Prep. A team he got killed by. This guy can't hack it at Texas with 4 and 5 star guys around him. He does get hyped over Sam Houston State though. Those are the college versions of what he seen in HS.

The best win Arch's high school career wasn't even in the top 3,000 nationally. These teams were scary bad. They looked like 14U youth teams. And not even the good ones. The ones who have kids who are forced to play by their overcompensating parents. Lol.

It was glaringly obvious the O-line isn't up to snuff but what is also obvious is Mannings decisions made under pressure. For every good thing you see from him you will then see 2 bad things. We're not talking about a newbie freshman here, it's his 3rd year in the system and the betting favorite to win the Heisman on the #1 team in the country, going into this season. He may have all the physical tools to be a generational talent but mentally he's not even close.

You can criticize Arch Manning every week if you want to. Doesn't much matter to me.

Texas had 341 total yards of offense today and Arch Manning had 300 of those
263 passing and 40 rushing

If it didn't matter, you wouldn't, answer so you're lying. It's ok if you have a delusional take on Mannings performance, we wouldn't expect anything less from you. Manning has the same problem that Sanders has (and the main reason why he dropped in the draft and is third string) no pocket presence or awareness hence all the sacks.

He had a ton of empty stats.

Arch is 100 percent the problem. They need to bench him,  and give the back up a chance.  I'm sure the Texas faithful are wishing they had Ewers back right about now.

Manning is look at his first option and then run.

The Texas defense wasn't much better truthfully.

The only reason they had Texas Preseason #1 was Arch Manning ...

Manning is just much worse than Nussmeier

It's ok if you have a delusional take on Mannings performance, we wouldn't expect anything less from you. Manning has the same problem that Sanders has (and the main reason why he dropped in the draft and is third string) no pocket presence or awareness hence all the sacks.
He has a delusional outlook on Manning.

At this point, I think Bryce Young is a better NFL QB than Manning is a college QB.

I have this argument every week with my friends who are Manning apologists. They always end up pointing to his HS stats and I always have to compare his competition to the weakest league in our area.  They don't get it. He is ok, but he is not a top QB. If he can't win with a line and receivers made up of 5 star players then good luck in the pros.

Agreed. And I don't think anyone would be so harsh on him if he wasn't so overhyped. It's outrageous that he was chosen to be a 5 star when literally there is not one piece of tangible evidence that he possesses the traits of a 5 star. Other than his last name

Somehow you have convinced yourself that the Archman is not going to be a Top 5 pick when he comes out ...... this is nothing more than the Minor Leagues to the Archman.

Football's a little different, but the Archman didn't go to Texas to become a gynecologist.
It takes almost 4 years for the #1 player picked in the MLB draft to actually make Major League baseball..

"It takes an average of 3.6 years for a first overall pick to get called up to the Major League Baseball (MLB) team, "

The Archman is just hanging out a couple years at Texas developing and polishing his NFL ready skills.

Might as well get a shout out in for 2022 Lakeland!  ;D  CB Shadarian Harrison now starts for Pitt, and had a crucial forced fumble in the win over FSU. CB Dontay Joyner starts for Maryland, and came up with a huge pick-6 to give the Terps a 31-24 lead over Nebraska. CB Cormani McClain is now entrenched as a starter for Florida, and had a big pick recently at Miami. That's three cornerbacks starting in Power 5 football, and all have at least some chance to play on Sundays. Also from the 2022 defense, LB Rolijah Hardy had thirteen (13) tackles in Indiana's breakthrough win at Oregon. So, four guys from that defense are now major impact players at Power 4/5 schools by their third year in college.

Florida State- Mike Norvell
USC-Lincoln Riley

These 3 schools are wasting their time with these guys and time is a very valuable and costly thing.
Except one has the best offense plus the most efficient QB in all of college football the other two aren't even close. So who do you think is going first?

At what point in that game did USC QB or offense line up against ND offense ? If you're trying to diss someone at least make it make sense.

Mannings 1st throw 60 yards (actually about a half yard down field, receiver did the rest). 18 throws later= 39 yards 1 interception. Not a good look against an SEC bottom feeder.

This Texas AM/LSU game looks like a Texas vs Louisiana HSFB game.

If Allen, SLC, North Shore, Duncanville, etc etc played Edna Karr, Rusty, Baton Rouge Catholic, it would be this bad.

Allen beat state champ Evangel 45-10. That's what all the games would look like when top teams from each state would play. Every time. That's why I think it's asinine to have any Lousiana team ranked ahead of the top 5 (minimum) Texas teams

I just think it's comical that you think I'm an Archman fan and you can't wait to get on here every weekend bashing him.

The Football Manning's have never done anything for Tulane or LSU. I really don't care all that much.

If the Archman is a flop he'll be the first Manning that was a flop. That's my only point.

California may lead the nation in 5-Star flops at the QB position, but that's probably for another day.

StreamEast is the, hands down, the best website for streaming all sports (NCAA, NFL, NBA, MMA pay per view and soccer) all for free. Just close the popup after you find what you want. Been using it for 6 years now, I only use IOS software and never had a problem. But as usual, as with any website, you use at your own risk.

Quick hitters that kept going for long gains.  1st play of the game,  a 1 yard pass goes for a 75 yard td. That's what having better players than Vandy causes.

So many quick hitters that kept going for 10-15 yards in this game.

Probably had 200+ yards in YAC on the day.

Also Vandy had zero sacks and one tackle for loss the entire game! That's historically bad for a front 7. Arch just sat back, threw a little dump pass, and let the four and five star athletes take over. All while he got literally zero pressure the entire game.

See red flag doesn't know anything about football. He just looks at box scores and stats, and just assumes things went a certain way. And then to make it worse, you will show him irrefutable evidence to back up your statement and he brushes it off with ignorant hillbilly videos.

You can't do anything with that.

When Brown did that with Chase and Higgins he would bring it up.  He's just too bias to actually look at something and call it for what it is, when it involves a person he's a fan boy of.

USC shouldn't lose another game this year. Candy schedule!
Oregon is not even what they were.

That USC schedule is the kind of schedule a head coach can possibly keep their job with

LSU has played 4 of the current Top 13 teams in the nation with 1 more to go.

#4 Alabama, #3:Texas A&M, #6:Ole Miss, #13:Vanderbilt and still has to play #11 Oklahoma.

LSU played Alabama a pretty good game last week. Defensively we played real well....... just ain't clicking offensively. If you don't have a decent OL it's almost impossible to score in the Red Zone and you end up having to kick field goals.

You can get away with a weaker OL in the middle of the field sometimes....... you have a lot more space to play with.

LSU actually won the 2nd half vs Alabama outscoring them 6-3..... all that means is we played 4 quarters.

Had Brian Kelly been on the sideline we probably lose that game 45-9.....  I'm so glad he's gone.
Lot's of ugly stories coming out about how most of the team hated him.

I never said Hillbillies couldn't have money and sport Ray-Ban sunglasses out and about on Lookout Mountain.

McCallie hasn't produced 1 NFL player in the last 27 years and they don't produce many D1 athletes. This year I think they have a prospect committed to Vanderbilt.

That doesn't mean they can't put a quality football product on the field some years.

Mission Viejo was the #6 team in the Nation.

Neville was top 5 in the state at the time not top 10 Mississippi put a running clock on them.

So thanks for admitting there isn't 5 Louisiana teams in the top 500.

I remember a few years ago Red Flag was trying to make fun of a Florida playoff bracket, and all it did was help us see that the best Louisiana bracket finals with the 2 best teams and flag bearers was one team not in the national top 100 against another team not in the national 200!!! LMAO!!!

And what was funnier we also found out that Florida had four championship games where all eight teams were ranked higher than either of the Louisiana teams. Lol.

Neville is a top school in Louisiana. No Louisiana team has blown them out.  Your best chance would be Karr, but a fringe top 10 team from Mississippi that was blown out 37-12 in Mississippi beat them down by 29 points.

Just for the record>>> Monroe Neville had some serious injuries this year early.
And guess what?
You haven't seen me moan, cry or b**** about it one time. Neville is still not 100%, but they are much better.

"Neville High School's football team experienced significant injury challenges, particularly to the offensive line, during the first five weeks of the 2025 season. This led to the use of multiple lineup combinations, with four different centers, two left guards, three right guards, and two right tackles starting at various points. The team, however, began to show improvement in consistency after using the same lineup for two consecutive weeks against Sterling.
Offensive line injuries: The team was significantly impacted by injuries on the offensive line, which forced frequent changes to the lineup.
Lineup changes: In the first six weeks, the team used six different offensive line combinations due to the injuries.
Player injuries: At one point, the offensive line had seen four different centers, two left guards, three right guards, and two right tackles start games.
Signs of improvement: The team showed improvement in their game against Sterling, where they were able to use the same lineup for a second consecutive week, leading to better consistency and trust on the line. "

They could have this many losses but they don't. Same thing you said about 2003 5A finalist ECA.

Neville just beat two top 8 schools in Louisiana in back to back weeks. Whipping one last week.

5A Monroe Neville had to use everything they had just to beat 3A #1 Sterlington this year 28-21.

Of course Sterlington would be a Top 25 team in California. They are not really built like a typical 3A team. Sterlington would probably be a D2 or D3 playoff team in California easily.

Mission Viejo, CA was never even tested.

Going to be funny when they beat Mater Dei.

I can only imagine the runt Steeler when that happens. The little fella already lost his mind.

If a Louisiana team played McCallie, we would have already seen five threads in the off-season and five threads in the season. We would have heard about them being a boarding school and that some random guy made a speech back in 1875 on their campus.

You would be able to do a complete school project on them just with the information red flag would have posted. Lol.

And then, when they would've beaten the shit out of the Louisiana team, you would have heard about all their championships, winning percentage, NFL players, and their number two state ranking for months.

Still waiting🤔

Might I make a suggestion Red, please refrain from making predictions on outcomes of teams or games for the rest of this season. You're batting close to 0 for 1000 this year. Nussmeier And LSU lighting up this year, Arch and Texas lighting it up this year, USC and Pat Riley's demise, Nussmeier and Arch as Heisman finalists and or winner and then you jumped on the coattails of Sierra Canyon stating the could be the best team in the country (we all know how all that turned out). Well guess what, none of that happened, not even close. You do have Edna Karr, I guess that's something, if you're from Louisiana, good luck with that.

Of course many of the polls also had Mater Dei #1 and then tried St John Bosco at #1. Who will be the California flavor of the week this week?  🤠

Who cares?
It was Edna Karr's 2nd game of the season..... Karr won 24-17 and dominated both LOS's.

Top 10 St Thomas Aquinas couldn't even score a TD on AHP a couple weeks ago and won 19-13. 🤠

LSU's interim Head Coach is Frank Wilson..... he's from NOLA and went to St Aug.

He got his first win yesterday against a pesky Arkansas team

Frank Wilson is a hell of a recruiter (some say the best) and I really wouldn't mind if LSU gave him the head coaching job. He knows the culture and lives the culture.

And on Top of that the players and Louisiana loves him

Showing that emotion! 👇

Thats been their best opponent, so yes it does matter

Aquinas didn't need overtime and they won 19-12. Led 16-0 at one point. Aquinas actually plays real competition.

MaxPreps has Edna Karr #10 with a SOS of "35"
Even someone with your limited intelligence knows 35 is greater than 27.

Because you don't want to recognize it has nothing to do with me.

Edna Karr is Top 10 in 3 or 4 polls currently....... maybe they move up a couple spots or maybe they move down a couple spots when all the smoke clears

At this point of the year it really doesn't even matter..

Archman was 27/45 251 Yards 1 TD 1 INT...... he was the Texas offense.

Texas only had 23 Yards rushing and their defense totally collapsed in the 2nd half.

We have to get the Archman some help next year........ OR he may transfer to Ohio State or USC next year. 😮🤠

You know you lost when all you have is to go after someone's grammar. Maybe thats why I became a building contractor (retired at 50, so must have done something right) instead of a novelist. Go figure. The only reason you hung on to SIerra Canyons nutsack was to stick it to the CA posters and it blew up in your face (just like your other predictions). I think Texas had 7 or 8 drops yesterday on beautiful NFL level passes......

Stephen A Smith saw and commented on 4 of them in the 1st half as did the rest of us.

The one scoring drive for Texas when they cut the lead to 14 -10 was all Archman........ Unbelievable accuracy and zip on his passes.

Tulane controls their own destiny to the College Football Playoffs.

Simple, win their last two games (they will) and then win the AAC Championship game that will most likely be at Tulane Stadium.........if they can win the AAC Championship they are in at #12

No USC fan has ever been jealous of LSU. It was the LSU fanbase that has always had inferiority complex about USC since the split title in 2003. Refresh our memories on the last time USC was in the playoffs or won a National Championship in football or any sport not named volleyball or whatever. 🤠🏈🤠

Who cares

6 years ago some 10 year old doesn't even recall. LSU is irrelevant currently. Not ranked

Currently,  they epitomize Louisiana football in general.

People that are serious about winning National Championships.

USC hasn't tasted real success in over 2 decades.

Lincoln Riley's going on Year 5 and USC is no closer to the promised land..... time is flying.

In two years it'll be Year 7.

He was poised and great in the pocket per steeler01. 😭

258 completions out of 327 attempts 78.9 completion percentage

I don't get it really.

All these college football teams with OL's that average 6-5 333 lbs and were 4* and 5* prospects in high school can't run the ball.

Running behind two big dudes is supposed to work.
Maybe O-lines these days are too big, fat and sloppy.

Ohio state had 2 RZ trips that ended with zero points.  That's why they lost.

Loss: Ohio State and Georgia

Texas got penalized for playing Ohio State Week 1 in Columbus losing 14-7 while everybody else was playing Kennesaw State, Southern Montana, Sacramento State, and etc.

Also, 2 rematches in Round 1.

I'm loving watching Rolijah Hardy- zero star out of HS- emerging as a star player. Leading tackler and top in sacks for the number one team in the country. His pass breakup in the endzone on OSU's last drive might have made him worthy of MVP honors, if the award wasn't automatically given to the QB of the winning team.
