Has any team in 11 man across the country scored more than 41 points in a quarter this year?
Pensacola Catholic scored 41 points in the first quarter against New Orleans carver this past weekend. It was the earliest the running clock was enforced this year in Florida.
Pensacola Catholic is a small 2A team. So the majority of the junior varsity suit up for depth. So all of the freshmen and sophomores played the last 3 quarters. The game finished 45–0. Catholic tacked on two safeties the rest of the way while the JV pitched the shut out.
Catholic was on the 3 yard line about the score. A touchdown up 43–0, when the freshman quarterback fumbled.
Anyways, kudos to little panhandle Catholic for stepping up to weight classes and trouncing 4A New Orleans Carver.

The record in Florida is 63. Naples High was beating their rival at the end of the 1st quarter. Finished 91-0.

Florida has wins over national top 100 teams Orange Lutheran, East St Louis, and Bishop Gorman off the top of my head. Plus DeSoto, and hell throw in Dothan AL. They are higher ranked than West Point Ms, Legacy, and St John's!

True. Longview is a regional opponent. They aren't national. They are very good and would provide good depth down the line, but they would get drilled by any national top 100 team. Which is no biggie. Not every team has to be elite.
Funny it took the now according to some top team in Louisiana 4 quarters to finally pull away from a team that is barely top 20 in TX.

If Pensacola Catholic was playing full force I'm sure they could have won 105-14. They put their JV team in the 2nd quarter. All freshman and sophomores.
