Longview leads the all-time series 7-6, but Ruston has won the last 2 in a row 2024 and 2025.

Last year Ruston finished top 5 in the state and needed a miracle at the end just to win by 3 points against a 5 loss Longview team who lost 60-28 vs Desoto.
Longview wasn't even top 30 in the state at seasons end. And they played a virtual tie against Rusty.
If Longview is just marginally better this year than last year, then I expect them to give Louisiana top 3 hell again

They are small. A team like Katy, Duncanville, Northshore, Etc would score at will on them. I'd venture to say they are similar to last year and that's why Desoto scored at will on them.
