Good list!.... IMG's season comes down to 1 game, SFA.... Their Schedule is terrible.... And they don't have to navigate any playoff so they play up to 6 less games than other states.... I just don't see them as a #1 team... But it's wide open this year so who knows and FL is in the lead with OOS wins.... It's just too bad there no playoff in FL with IMG.... 🤣

No Preseason Poll on the internet has Catholic (Baton Rouge)  #1 in Louisiana.

You ever notice sometimes you see a flock of birds
but there's one bird flying by itself?.....   that's the hillbilly bird.. 🏈🏈😭🏈

I got Baton Rouge Catholic number one, John Curtis, number two, Alexandria number three

And I got Newman receiving votes. Lol.

Both IMG's and SFA's schedules are atrocious. Let's hope at least one of them gets upset and then that team goes on to win the head 2 head. No team should be eligible for a MNC with essentially a 1 game season.

I hate ranking teams that haven't even played yet, but I didn't want to wait another week to post it. I actually like Alexandria as well. I might've jumped the gun on BR Catholic.

Yeah, the problem with the Louisiana team is Catholic, Curtis, and Alexandria are all going to lose this weekend. So it's hard to figure out who is the tallest midget.

I wouldn't say atrocious. Before the season started the only bad teams were Cornerstone and Legacy. St. louis has ended up being terrible so far. Let's wait and see how Lone Peak does the rest of the season. They are usually pretty decent.

SFA's schedule is considerably weaker than IMG's, though.

I wouldn't argue for Lakeland to be that high until if/when they beat Venice and American Heritage. I think they can do that, but they haven't done it yet.

Neither Schedule is worthy of being Ranked #1 playing only 10 or 11 games.... And not participating in any kind of state playoff.... And before anyone says it's not their fault, it is for not obiding by their states rules.... It's their choice....

I don't like the fact that this country has resorted to recruiting players from all over to make all-star powerhouses, but that's the way it is now. Whether they compete in a playoff doesn't mean that said team wouldn't beat another one that did compete in a playoff. I simply rank them according to who would win if the teams played on the field. Playoffs or not. Doesn't matter.

Pretty terrible logic.

You should have put Alexandria in Desoto''s spot.
Alexandria even shakes hands before the game.

Alexandria looks just like all the teams that played this weekend that we all watched that includes the Trinity League, CA. and maybe even STA.

In your defense I really wouldn't expect you to know that though.

Alexandria would get killed by those teams.

Stick to playing Arkansas teams who already lost.

If Alexandria scheduled one of those teams, we'd be hearing how Alexandria isn't a power. They've never won anything Yada Yada yada.

You mean like Chaminade Madonna and Desoto and etc who sucked, but are still ranked .

Nope, Alexandria might be the best team in Louisiana or pretty damn close to it this year. I don't play the silly games you people. play

That Ruston vs Alexandria game is going to be huge later this year.

Alexandria couldn't beat Neville last year but now they're great.  Laughable.

Alexandria vs Desoto and you'd be talking about how keeping it within 14 would be great.  Desoto would club them by 20+ like they did to Augustine a couple of years back.

Same players that got destroyed by Neville.

Desoto with Alexandria's schedule, would look just like Karr did last year in Louisiana.

Calpreps is only good for checking scores from every state. Watching and reading about the games (along with input from different regions) is what it takes to put out a poll. Other then watching a few Lousyana games every week, I highly doubt you do any of that.

Let's all see you put out a poll (without copying mine).

Rest assured, I am well aware of the results of this last weekend.
It will shoot N. Crowley up the poll and drop SLC further down. See how that works, Einstein?
DeSoto will get a chance to earn their way back in later this year in the playoffs (assuming they don't get blown out again when they play DV).
