Title: National #11, FL #4 Carol City, FL And Their 25 Transfers Shot Down In Flames!
Post by: Redzone on Aug 29, 2026, 05:28 AM
Lee County, GA 23 Carol City, FL 20

All offseason people were talking about Carol City and their transfer class. Some say this was the greatest collection of talent ever assembled in Florida. Feel free to do your own Google. It's all very well documented.

I even bought into it and picked Carol City in the pickem'. Should have my ass kicked when I knew better.

Guess what though ! That shit was shot down in flames. Lee County didn't get all those memo's. 🏈😂🏈

Florida' is such a joke.

Not to worry. Big Daddy STA will save the day

I picked Lee County with 7 confidence. There's a reason Lee County is national top 100, soon to be national top 50-75.

What's a joke is Red Flag propping up teams like freaking Louisville and West Point! LMAO!!!

I want, nay, I need, nay, I DEMAND to know what OOS teams is Louisiana gonna beat this year!!!!!!

And will they be better than at least Hoban, Rabun Gap, Orange Lutheran and East St Louis?????????

That's how you know Louisiana football hasn't even started yet. When you have Red Flag with no skin in the game, scouring the internet to shit on teams and states. I said it in the offseason. This piece of shit knows no embarrassment.

I asked him for the best OOS wins in the last 15 years for the state of Lousiana and all he came up with was 3 loss TAPPS and 3 loss Mississippi. LMAO!

Florida has 4 better wins in August of 2026 than the entire state of Lousiana does in the last decade plus!!!!

I saw one National Poll that had Carol City #8, yeah right.

Get that overhyped Florida trash out of the Top 25.

Maybe the pollsters will finally learn their lesson.

Fun fact. The year Miami Booker T Washington beat Norcross 55-0, Norcross was breaking in 16 football transfers. They lost the very next game as well. Then rattled off 13 straight wins to win the state championship.

Also Carol City was without 2 defensive starters, had to drive 9 hours up, and the refs were cheating all night says people on the internet. Lol.

Also Carol City was ranked on hype. By random people. So they didn't actually do anything to deserve the ranking on the field. It was on potential. And so far they didn't live up to it.

I want to see Curtis, Catholic and Alexandria ALL back up their top5 state rankings this week!!!

Believe DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just read an article on how Carol City built a national powerhouse this year. That's good stuff!

gaybob813 said Carol City would have won the Lee County game if they didn't have to share talent with 35 other teams in South Florida. At least that's what he said on the Florida Forum he's too much of a pussy to post that shit here.

That's his brand new angle now when Florida gets their ass beat. The old angles were lack of coaching,  facilities and money.

That gay dude is all over the map when Florida gets their ass whooped.

Have you created a list yet of OOS teams Lousoma has beat better than Hoban, OLu, Gap and ESL yet?

August 2026 in FL has been better than Louisiana August 2010-December 2025

I love that they were the definition of a mid football team last year (and a mostly-mid program on the whole), get a bunch of transfers, and suddenly people that should know better forget that they play in one of the nation's most competitive regions and anoint them as a powerhouse sight unseen.

I remember when Flo Rida donated (https://www.huffpost.com/entry/flo-rida-ugly-uniforms-carol-city_n_2024671) the ugliest unis man has ever known to Carol City. It still might be the most notable thing about their program.

.....25 transfers was the grand total, I believe as they picked up 2 or 3 more before kickoff against Lee County, GA

And 25 transfers is not a "bunch". It's a freaking entire team of transfers. Don't play it off.

The south Florida Circus All-Stars got their ass whooped. But like I said  > Big Daddy STA will always be there and save Florida.

Roster and Talent Star Power:
The Chiefs added roughly 20 transfers, featuring a defense where nearly every starter holds at least a three-star rating.

Key Recruits: Headlined by five-star Miami wide receiver commit Nick Lennear, Georgia linebacker commit Temorris Campbell Jr., Florida State defensive back commit Za'Kari Johnson, Nebraska defensive back commit Jailen Hill, and standout sophomore quarterback Malik Leonard.

Next year a famous rapper's son will attend random Miami School and that school will pick up 23 transfers.

And, the polls will have random Miami team #9 Preseason
Just stop, Redzone. 🤠😭🤠

I thought AHP beating national number 24 ESL "bailed FL out"

I read the same articles you did. None of it changes the fact that Carol City has been mid this entire decade and the people lifted up as the media experts on these things are pretty damn stupid elevating them to national top 15 status when there's not a shred of evidence that it's possible to put a cohesive product on the field. Who's to say that 25 transfers is the right number to protect them from their annual ass-blastings to Northwestern and Central?

Transfers don't always mean immediate success. Like I said Norcross had 16 football transfers and lost 55-0 to FL team half their size.

But then turned around and won state at the highest level in GA. It happens.

Top FL and GA teams always trade blows. Just in the last few years you had these results

Chaminade beats GA state champ Buford handing them their only loss.

Western who lost in the 2nd round and wasn't even top 20 in FL beating large class state champ Milton

Benedictine GA winning back to back State titles the 2 years they got roasted by Miami Columbus

And Monarch beating down state champ Cedar Grove

You win some and you lose some!!!!!!!

Hell western just put a running clock on the seventh ranked Colorado team last night.

That will be a better win than anything from Louisiana this year. Take that to the bank!

Florida's 330th rank team just took out the 11th rank team from Alabama. Think about that

Florida's 330th Rank team will have a better out-of-state win than the entire state of Louisiana combined.

Take that to the bank!

Carol City is excellent. So is Lee County. CC had to travel a long ways to play in a hostile environment and lost a close game. It's not a bad loss IMO.

The computers have Lee County 12th in GA and Carol City 13th in FL

That's good, Given the fact that CC had to drive 9 hours which anyone will tell you sucks, they had to deal with (according to numerous people on social media) the famous crooked South GA "good ole boy" Refs.

They were ranked highly on potential only. Transfers don't automatically mean success. South Lake High from Groveland FL got 20 transfers and got dog walked by their rival down the street 24-6

Evans from Orlando got 20 transfers and lost to Lake Nona.

The word "transfer" doesn't necessarily mean "better"

Yes and no. Transfers aren't automatically significant. But, CC's transfers were already proven, just at other schools.

As you've said before, that many transfers tends to require an adjustment period to gel. It is still August. CC figures to be noticeably better in 3-4 months.
