SJR is romping Mt Carmel after 1, 23-0
Bosco leads Armwood 17-7 at the half
Special teams calamity strikes again for the Green Knights. MC scores on the next play. They have cut the deficit to 30-21. A fake punt, then a blocked punt and then a bad snap. Special teams have been just that for SJR
BC gets an 84 yd TD Pass in the first minute of the season.
Mount Carmel has climbed back into it, they get a 4th unanswered TD before the half and SJR's lead is now 30-28. Out of breath on this one !
The great start did not last, BC has allowed 17 unanswered since. Its early in the 2nd
What ever happened to that Livin school? Forget their name.

Quote from: Crusader on Aug 28, 2026, 06:21 PMBosco wrecking Armwood 38-14 with 9 mins to go
Bosco wins by that same score
SJR holds a 44-35 lead after 3. The two teams traded TD's during the third.
A dumpster fire for BC in Pittsburgh. 3 missed FG and a 24-7 deficit at the half
Mt Carmel takes their first lead of the game, 48-44 w 503 to go. 7 straight TD drives. A 30 pt SJR lead is erased!
Big win for Mt Carmel (Chicago) taking down NJ #1 SJR.
I was really high on Mt Carmel last year.
That 48-44 lead held up for Mt Carmel. The Green Knights with another tremendous choke. Not sure anyone's topping that!
PCC now leads BC 31-7 early in the 3rd

After 2017 they fell into the abyss, had some really miserable seasons and were eventually demoted to Group B. They are on the way up though, last season they made their first state final in nine years. They haven't won a game against the Big 3 since although this year might be their best chance since

Computers have them 46th in the state. They are a public school in the middle of nowhere playing against a team who can recruit from a metro area of 12 million.

Perhaps I'm remembering the Armwood of several years ago.

What was the name of that one player who was supposed to be all everything but ended up only having like 1 pick in college?

Yeah, back in 2011. They went to Las Vegas and beat Bishop Gorman and finished number 3 in the country.
For the last 10-15 years or so they have always been a step down from the elite teams in the state.
Good team overall, just not built to beat national teams like Bosco.

The Crusader defense and kicking games are an abomination. We had to go it for it on the last play when we could've kicked an 18 yd FG. We won't be fighting for the state, we'll be fighting to hold on to whatever dignity we can salvage.

I really don't care much about the New Jersey scoreboard, but Bergen Catholic and St Joseph Regional are 0-4 in OOS games this year.....
Be thankful New Jersey's in an irrelevant football state, or the kids here would be all BC and SJR.

Hey garbage P.O.S. Those Jersey teams didn't get to play freaking TAPPS St John's and Legacy Science.
The 4 teams they played will be better than any OOS win for Lousiana the whole year.
Your top 2 teams lost their OOS games by a combined 88-44. Lousiana is a perennial loser in OOS games. That's why you need to hype up TAPPS and TCAL teams. It's embarrassing that a 70 year old man could have some fucked up worldview like that

SJR prevailed against Delby 24-17, but The Green Wave won't be a pushover this year.
BC scores a well needed 33-3 win. The Crusaders will begin their in-state slate Friday when they take on Peters at the Point. Will be their first matchup against the Marauders in 3 years.
