A bad game for SJP sandwiched in between two tough losses to AHP and SFA, 3 and 8 points respectively. You remember AHP, don't you? The same team that took Lousyana's #1 team down to the wire with a WR at QB. 5-5 is a deceiving record with such a tough schedule. SJP will be legit this year, as usual.

This was the best Louisiana team in a quarter century. Since 2000 W. Monroe.

This is nothing new for Brentwood Academy. They recruited back in the 80s and early 90s and dominated the divisions. They are the reason Tennessee went to separate classes. Baylor and McCallie have ruled the recruiting scene in Tennessee for a decade. It's just coming back BA's way now. (Watch out for Lipscomb, though, now that Dilfer is back.) Besides, I've lived in Nebraska for almost 30 years now (minus a couple PCS's and TDY's). They haven't had a good football team here since the 80s (Westside was decent a few years back). Millard South decided to recruit and has stepped it up the last two years. We'll see how good they can get.....

I don't feel the necessity to mention every site I browse. Nobody, but you, cares. BA is not a regular fixture in any national top 25 (or top 100 for that matter). However, based on what I've read about their transfers they will have a legit shot at it this year. The only tough obstacles on their schedule are at Baylor first game and SJP two weeks later. Also, a rematch with Baylor in the playoffs. Or, McCallie.
