Bryant (Little Rock) is on a 26 game winning streak and won back-to-back 7A State Championships in Arkansas.
Bryant has won the last 7 of 8 State Championships. Definitely the premier program in Arkansas. Bryant finished Top 20 in several of the National polls in 2025.
Alexandria ain't scared This is the kind of game Bixby should be playing. Fat chance!

Bryant needs to do a home-home vs Bixby.
The distance between Alexandria, La and Little Rock, AR is 277 miles.
The distance between Bixby, OK and Little Rock, AR is 272 miles.
That's pretty crazy.
No one can tell me people don't call Bixby for a game. They just don't really want anything to do with it at this point.
Anyways,
Alexandria can lay claim to beating the Louisiana 5A State Champ and 5A State Runner-up last year.
They can also lay claim to getting completely humiliated by Catholic (Baton Rouge) in the 2nd Round of the D1 select playoffs.
Alexandria plays in the same public 5A District with West Monroe, Ruston and Ouachita, but plays in the D1 Select Private playoffs because they're an open enrollment school.
In any case they're going to have to bring it to hang with Bryant!
I was looking at Bryant's facilities they have some very nice stuff.

I don't get it either. Bixby is in a wealthy suburb with top notch facilities. It's not like they don't have the money. When Union and Jenks ruled the Oklahoma landscape they would take on OOS powers from time to time.
Bryant, AR beat Top 20 Newton, GA last year 31-14..... it was 31-7 at halftime.
The Myth National Champion Buford beat Newton in the 3rd round of the Georgia playoffs by the exact same score 31-14.
Bryant vs Buford probably would have been a decent game last year.
Anyways good for Alexandria scheduling this game. Probably going to take the X.
I'd be happy if Bixby played Newton, GA.......
